The Dolphins are open to making it work with Mike Wallace but his future could hinge on his receptiveness to taking a pay cut/restructuring. Discussions were expected this week. Wallace is due $9.9 million next season, but none of it is guaranteed at the moment. Of that $9.9 million, $3.3 million becomes guaranteed on the fifth day of the league year, which starts March 10. So Miami has some time to reach a resolution. If the Dolphins don't keep Wallace, UM's Phillip Dorsett is one receiver with elite speed who would love to end up here.
