Danny Shelton checked in at 343.. Mayock speaking very highly of tyler lockette, that he can operate and will school defenders all week....for me whats left in his eval is if I see natural catching hands, if I do, I'm all in.
watching the kid jeff Luc from cincy..about 6 foot 263...inside backer running and covering downfield..quick flash..
tomlinson the guard from duke shows some heavy feet getting beat bad from the anderson kid from stanford.
just saw two reps in coverage, did good on them for a guy that size who's projected to run 4.8 but haven't watched him at all yet play football.
I don't think that's a good size for him. It's expected, but it's not a good size for him. It puts a cap on his draft stock. I will be flat shocked if he goes before the 3rd round. If there.
Are they going to be showing any replays after 7PM EST? I'm at work. I like to watch the one on one's.
He definitely looked bigger in games than I thought he was, him being a physical runner and all.. 198.. I would have guessed 210 lol 198 is small..
It is definitely bad in a league where the average running back taking carries is about 220. He's not going to get drafted high because of his size and he's going to be viewed as a specialist, a role player.
I don't disagree about a role player, but the way his 200lbs is put together gives him a better chance of getting more carries and beating the odds of the norm...figure he will be about 205 come next season..my point was if one was high on him, his weight and size should not drop him one bit.
I'll double up my post here: keep an eye on ILB Stephone Anthony [Clemson] this week. The size and talent are there to be a great one, so it'll be interesting to see if he rises to the occasion this week. If he does, he could very well find himself in discussion for our 2nd round pick. IMO Anthony > Denzel Perryman & McKinney.
another nice route by warford... your boy Anthony just made a very nice undercut of a crossing route to deflect the pass.
Man Sammy Coates hands scare me. The way he catches the ball it looks like he's using every bit of his concentration to ensure he completes the task.... rather than a guy like Watkins or Beckham who just make it look effortless. Even Kevin White makes it look effortless compared to Coates [not a knock on White BTW].
The K State Lockett kid looks good. Nice hands with a good catch radius. Moves extremely well. Crisp. Sudden. Outstanding control of his body. Plays bigger than his size. Reminds me of last year's John Brown in these regards.
Watford from the U gets the nod from mayock as player of the day. L collins shows a nice pass protecting flash..huge player, good symmetry.
just wanna see what kind of hands he has..I understand and have watched him catch for three years now, and he does use his body, but imo there is an art form to it so in this case I'm not sure if its his crutch or his style, the combine will allow me to see him in a natural setting.
This year's coverage is for crap. I've learned very little through 70 minutes about these guys today. I don't need to be LOOKING AT Mayock & Davis to hear them talk. I don't care about watching whoever is present on the sidelines. I don't give a s*** about eating a f***ing Reese's cup. Just show the damn action.
In fact, I do occasionally enjoy dabbling in a Reece's cup here and there but b/c of this obnoxious effort to bully me into buying one, I'm gonna boycott them permanently until February.
That big Stanford DE Henry Anderson moves well for a 6'6 287 guy. Very sudden off the snap. Poor man's JJ Watt.
Man if Pitt's right tackle doesn't pass the physical eyeball test. He's gonna be a beast in a couple years when he fills out that impressive frame and gains consistent technique.
Abdullah's tape [Nebraska] didn't really wow me. I have no interest, not in the 2nd-3rd round at least. I'd rather have Ajayi.
