Our WR's have to block with some attitude on these. If Hartline gives a real block here Tannehill has a chance to score.

EDIT: further anlaysis, if Hartline blocks well here Tannehill absolutely scores.

 

Hartline did it right. Once the runner passes him, he better stop blocking or risk getting called for a hold. #26 is just fast.

 

That's hilarious.

We got a stupid hold just like that on a receiver in this game. Don't remember who it was.

 

Ya it's funny as hell.

And BH had a hold earlier at a horrible time.

 

On that one TD that was called back. They threw two flags for holding. One on Hartline, which was declined, and to me a ticky tack call, and one on Clay, which maybe the play you're thinking of.

Clay is HORRIBLE blocking in space, but I still love him,

 

Hartline should take notes on that play. Tanne dragged a defender for 10 yards before going down.

 

He had a key block on the Miller TD that counted, as well as the key block on that long RT run on 4th and 1. The one holding call aside, I came away from this game thinking Clay is improving a lot as a blocker.

 

Well, RT is the better, bigger, stronger athlete of the two, and if he had not worked out as a QB, would have probably been a better pro WR than Hartline.

 

I don't remember the play other than thinking it was a total bullcrap ticky-tack call. Even the Dolphins fan sitting next to me agreed.
