People are having fun with this on twitter. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on...-tannehill-does-a-great-dolphin-impersonation
Our WR's have to block with some attitude on these. If Hartline gives a real block here Tannehill has a chance to score. EDIT: further anlaysis, if Hartline blocks well here Tannehill absolutely scores.
Hartline did it right. Once the runner passes him, he better stop blocking or risk getting called for a hold. #26 is just fast.
That's hilarious. We got a stupid hold just like that on a receiver in this game. Don't remember who it was.
On that one TD that was called back. They threw two flags for holding. One on Hartline, which was declined, and to me a ticky tack call, and one on Clay, which maybe the play you're thinking of.
He had a key block on the Miller TD that counted, as well as the key block on that long RT run on 4th and 1. The one holding call aside, I came away from this game thinking Clay is improving a lot as a blocker.
Well, RT is the better, bigger, stronger athlete of the two, and if he had not worked out as a QB, would have probably been a better pro WR than Hartline.
I don't remember the play other than thinking it was a total bullcrap ticky-tack call. Even the Dolphins fan sitting next to me agreed.
