What!? A fight at a football game. This will teach you to chant in our stadium! Seriously I don't support this type of drunken activity. But he was probably a loud mouth that had it coming anyways!
Yeah, that's effed up. People standing around watching that go down? Every day, I realize more and more that we're living in a real life version of the movie Idiocracy.
I think most Dolphin fans are the classiest around. He must have provoked it hardcore to get beat up like that.
Some guys are just A-holes and provoke actions like this against themselves. Maybe this guy was a high school bully who finally got what was coming to him? You know, karma? Why are we criticizing society and forming definitive conclusions based on 3 still images? Nothing is wrong with a guy getting his bell rung. Now the guy in aqua kicking two engaged guys is pathetic. Third man in is a coward, always was always will be.
this is why I have zero desire to take my kids to a football game. Drunken POS who can't control themselves.
In the real world, there are pieces of **** everywhere. Drunk or not. Its not just at the stadium. You shouldnt let a bad example like this make you hold back from going to support your team. One of the greatest things that has ever happened to me was my dad starting to take me to games. And as many as i have been to i have seen nothing like this. Ofcourse there was trash talking and all that but nothing extreme. This is disgusting imo
Losers. Whoever is standing around taking pictures like an idiot too is a complete loser as well. This is exactly why I'm probably bailing on my buddy from going to the game in Detroit in a few weeks. He's a Lions season ticket holder, I was there for the Lions & Bears game with him last year, it's just ridiculous in there. Especially now with how cocky lions fans seem to have gotten since having a respectable team. I don't think I want to put myself in that position There were drunken idiot and some just plain stupid Lions fans walking down the halls at Ford Field just randomly screaming in the faces of people wearing Bears colors, no matter how young or how old. Completely unprovoked before the game had even started. I just don't want to deal with it.
May have provoked but then 1 person take him on. Or how about ignore him. There are *******s in everyday life walk away
I've gotten to the point where I refuse to actually go to Dolphin stadium to watch a game because of the horrible environment. Certainly it wasn't always like this, but now the vast majority of fans in attendance are drunk, loudmouth losers who roll out of the frat house onto a party bus and pass out by half time, only to vomit in the parking lot on the way out. Last season I took my 7-year old son to his first Dolphins game, as he is now beginning to get interested in football. The parking lot was an absolute nightmare walking in, and I couldn't believe how much trash and vomit we had to avoid just to get to the gate. My son was then pushed over by several fans trying to storm their way through the security line. Then while we were watching the game it began to rain a little, and as anyone with kids knows they firmly believe they will melt in the rain so he wanted to go seek cover in the concourse. As we were leaving our seats to get out of the rain, along with most of the other families with children, we were mercilessly heckled by just about every Dolphins fan in our section, including one middle-aged drunk man who leaned over and called my son a p***y right to his face. Seriously, who heckles a 7-year old? We left early because so many of the fans in attendance were so horrible. That was the moment I decided to never renew my season tickets ever again. We certainly have a lot of classy fans, but they're the minority at the stadium.
True, we dont know the circumstances. Whatever the case, soneone was acting like a fool. Just dont know who without knowing the full story. Im sure every team has a few idiot fans
let me clarify, my desire to avoid going to any football games applies to seeing the dolphins at any opposing stadium. I've seen Miami play multiple times, but never actually in Miami. in the majority of stadiums, if you stand up and cheer for your team, even if it's not being offensive, you still risk some drunk F*** starting a fight with you, especially if your team is winning. and if you take your kid with you, you have to be the bigger person whenever some drunk idiot throws a comment or popcorn at you. how is that worth it? and while there are POS everywhere in the world (I'm a believer that most people are not inherently good), the atmosphere in a stadium is much closer to a bar/club than the real world.
Wow! I'm an out of state season ticket holder (I fly down on game weekends) and this is the first I've seen/heard anything like this. For the most part, I've always complained to people that the stadium is just a bit too polite to visitors, although I would never advocate violence, or getting in people's faces. Sorry to the folks that have had miserable game day experiences.
My girlfriend lives near Philly and I'm about an hour and a half drive to the stadium and I already told her I will not be attending next year when we play there. That place is a death wish for opposing fans.
Bring ten of your roughest looking friends! Bring me I've got your back I don't look rough but I'm tall and I wouldn't screw with me haha.
Behavior as such is nothing new really. And yeah, loud mouth or not, fighting over a sport you only engage in via tv is stupid.
I don't see what is so offensive about a fight. You guys have never been in or seen a fight? Happens everywhere, all the time. We have no idea what happened. If some ******** was taunting my wife, or a friend of mine it would be on too. If it was a rabid bunch of drunk Dolphins fans running around as a pack kicking people in the head, then yea I understand everyone's higher than thou responses, but you are allowed to stand up for yourself.... I just find it hard to believe that everyone on here is beyond a fight and would never be part of one.
Lol. I'm a rugged looking dude but I'm a teddy bear on the inside. I'd definitely run away and leave you alone at the first sign of confrontation. Sorry broski!
I would have your back Rocky if anyone messed with ya. Same for you too Alex. At Lambeau though we usually treat the opposing team fans good so there is no problems. At least we try to be classy to them.
I agree with you. I don't condone fighting over football, but sometimes people are ********s and need to get smacked in the mouth. The reactions here are a little overboard to me. Especially when we don't know the context of the incident.
I would never go into a opposing teams stadium and run my mouth and that is probably what this guy did. He might have deserved it. Especially after you win you just keep quiet, stay humble and win with grace and lose with grace.
Arod12 you're exactly right. I wouldn't either, but as said, we don't know the context. Emotions run very high after games, add in alcohol (99% of the people drink) and this stuff happens in every city after every sporting event or concert (with few exceptions).
Maybe the guy provoked it, but I am ashamed our fans would act that way regardless. If necessary, you inform security to deal with the guy.
Add in the fact that the Dolphins aren't a rival or in our conference so there is no need to get in each other's faces. I hope Miami wins their division and beats New England again for the sweep.
Put it this way...I went to the Ravens vs Dolphins playoff game with the James McKnight helmet catch. Playoff game and fans of both teams were really good to eachother. Friendly banter but respect. The way it should be.
