Is it time to start Matt Moore now or wait until we lose to the Raiders(if we do lose) I don't see us losing to the Raiders. Our team is actually talented for the kind of outcomes we have been receiving.
If its another one, why not post it in the already existing one? and to answer your question, because you want enough attention to warrant a response.... NO
There will almost certainly be huge issues with Matt Moore starting as well. If Tannehill is having problems learning what is required with him, Moore likely is too.
It all leads to the Head Coach then, seems to me he doesn't get his team ready for the game. There is also no replacement for him this year so I guess we will ride or die with the current coaching staff.
I'm curious how, in your opinion, he doesn't get them ready for the game? What is he doing or not doing?
At this point, I don't know. All I can say for what he isn't doing is winning games. So obviously it's something he isn't doing right or else we wouldn't be losing like this against teams we should beat. Edit: Our team is very talented, there is no lie in that.
Many think with Jim Harbaugh here we would be a playoff team. His 49ers are in the same boat as we are right now (blew two halftime leads in a row and lost to a backup QB today). I think people put too much on the coach. Yes, ultimately he is responsible but I dont think he is always the one to blame. There is plenty of blame for our record right now. I dont put it all on Philbin.
I see what you are saying, you make a good point. I'm just tired of having false hope every season. "Playoffs this year baby!" then after four games "better luck next year" it's like we are Cubs fans. As the Head Coach, you take responsibilty for the way your team plays even if it isn't all your fault.
Harbaugh at least has credibility, he took his team deep in the playoffs. None of our coaches have gotten close in a long, long time. I'd take Harbaugh, both of them, over Philbin right now.
If this team continues with Bill Lazor, then Yes on Matt Moore, he should start. This is an offense with Bill Lazor who does not care but wants to pass it 60 times at the risk of scoring 0 points. Matt Moore is perfect for that. Matt Moore can lead that kind of offense from the QB spot. RT can not lead, RT can only manage. If the OC decides to change and have a balanced offense, then RT is the man. He is safer, he can handle the offense, make enough good throws in the 30 attempts range per game. Matt Moore is not that kind of QB, Matt Moore is not a safe manager.
