First question is what does that mean for Jordan and Jones? Even if they were activated now I cant see them playing this week so that would mean a possible return next week?
Just saw this on Nfln in the break room. Dion Jordan back then? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Anyone ever here anything about them? Every thing I ever heard was all about Gordon and Welkers suspensions.
I doubt they can play this early because the ink is not dry on the agreement and there may be lawyers wanting to revise it.
And it will probably take 2 more weeks for them to figure it all out..get their asses in for the third game and I'll be a happy camper.. Wonder if Dion hired a Dline coach for the two weeks he was out, will be interesting to find out if he's a man of his word,
@RapSheet 38s Players like Orlando Scandrick and Wes Welker can return to the field Sunday. But no practice all week, may not actually see the field Philbin doesn't like playing players that haven't practiced. I think with our LB troubles we should have Jordan active and in on 3rd downs. I'd play Reshad occasionally as well.
@MikeGarafolo 1m NFLPA isn't yet confirming the names of players who will be clear to return to action but source says it's in the range of 20.
Of the two I'd think that Reshad was closest to game ready since he's been on the team for several seasons.
@GregLikens: Regarding Jordan & Jones, I'm awaiting word. Don't know what they tested positive for so can't speculate on their eligibility to return Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk
I'm not sure IMO that either player is able to just step in where they left off and Jordan need to practice at LB anyways. With our LB shortage and the fact that he can't rush the passer, hopefully the coaches told him to lose the weight. He needs to be on TEs.
We would have started Reshad Jones the week he was returning anyway right? Then why do people think he wont start this week? This deal was expected to happen and the NFL coaches knew which players would be reinstated right away
IMO, I don't see either guy playing this week. I think the Bills and the way the run their offense presents a lot of issues that require specific game planning as it relates to Miami's defensive scheme vs. Buffalo's various formations. Jones and Jordan have missed the entire install for this week. I guess I could buy Dion Jordan playing on special teams if Miami are so inclined...Jones as well, but I don't recall him playing on STs.
They would have practiced the week before the game when they returned. This is late in the week. I wouldn't be surprised if they were inactive.
Adam Beasley @AdamHBeasley 1m If the Dolphins get Jordan and Jones back, hard to see them playing much if all Sunday. They haven't even seen the game plan.
Yeah, No practice. No film room. No weight room. No team facilities. No team contact. Its pretty serious when you get suspended.

I could see using Jordan in third and long situations as a pass rusher. That is about it aside from Special Teams.
Well they should activate them both and bring them as reserves. The way we were losing linebackers last week you just never know!
@AbramsonPBP: ICYMI Reshad Jones and Dion Jordan will both have suspensions lifted. Will be interesting to see if they have any role after no practice.
