I know that it was intended to be humerous, but I only got through the first parts before I had to close it. Juvenile and stupid, IMO.
I forgot .... 66-94 over the last decade is a superb reason to take ourselves super serious. Might as well have some fun with it....everyone else is
We didn't have Vernon when Nolan was here, and the past two years we've still been a top 10 defense (in pts, which is what we were top 10 in in Nolan's last year).
You know what people call the actual Buzz Killington when he kills a buzz? - Stitches. At this point, Stitches should come on and say he checked and there's no such thing as person named Buzz Killington.
I'm just glad that we're over bringing other teams backups or settling for a project at quarterback - AJ Feeley - Sage Rosenfels - Joey Harrington - Cleo Lemon - Daunte Culpepper - John Beck - Chad Henne
Years from now, you may or may not remember that play. But you will still remember the Cleo Lemon/Camarillo score.
Speaking for myself, not at all. Until somebody said, "Camarillo" I'd forgotten it was him...it just doesn't stick out to me.
Absolutely not. The owner wasn't crying like a baby after Cam's sack. That was one win in a random game. The other play, was against a really good, prime Ravens defense, and kept us from HISTORY....
Sadly...I think this is correct. That line really hit below the belt. It's so god damn true. I think it might literally be the happiest I've been during a Dolphins game since Marino retired. Although there were moments during the Dolphins-Colts playoff game (the Lamar Smith game) that rivaled.
I try and think of vivid Dolphins moments that I can remember exactly where I was, who I was with, and how I felt. I remember being in a hotel room on vacation with my family, by myself as my family were out shopping, sitting at the edge of a hotel bed watching Lamar Smith bring the Dolphins back against the Indianapolis Colts in the playoffs. And I remember being in a friend's living room during a weekend where our entire fantasy league decided to gather in Orlando, with only two of us technically being Dol-Fans, but the entire room cheering our balls off when Camarillo caught and ran for that touchdown...just because nobody wanted to see 0-16, regardless of where your loyalties lay. Probably the two most vivid memories I have of watching Dolphins games post-Marino.
Looks that way, and that's all good. No other play has gotten me to jump up out of my chair like that one though, since the fake spike. Absolutely loved it.
for me its also the camarillo catch by a mile, another one is jay fiedlers dive into the endzone as time expired against the raiders
Funny but very depressing and true article at the same time. Here's hoping we get back to relevancy this year.
