These have been fun threads in the past...

I play in 2 leagues, have had one draft here it goes.

Non PPR, return yards per player, other than that standard.

    QB-Fat Stafford, Rivers
    RB-Charles, Ellington, Miller, Sproles, D.Brown
    WR-Cobb, C.Patterson, G.Tate, Wallace, Beckham
    TE- Clay, Safari-Jenkins
    Def- Arizona
    K- Dawson

    Fire away

Tough to evaluate with the return yards as I don't play in leagues with those stats. I would imagine you did pretty well with Cobb and Patterson getting return yards. Is Sproles returning in philly?

    I love Ellington this year

You might be a little weak at TE, other then that, it looks good. I would look at someone like a zach ertz who is undrafted in about 35% of leagues, Ladarius green who I know is a fave of yours and Travis Kelce

I like our for the most part. I take it you'll be dropping/adding defenses based on who's match ups throughout the season? Not in love with those wrs save for maybe Tate.

I would be skeptical of my Wrs in a different format. Big plays and return yards are what you want in this league.

Ginn had the 21st most points in our league last year.

And that Cardinals defense had the 5th.

With dockett out for the year and some other injuries they have you may want another defense

RB seems pretty strong but WR is a bit shaky. I think there are better options than ASJ.

Without knowing league size or the actual draft results it's hard to tell, but my critique would be the QB position. Stafford and Rivers are about the same in my opinion (6th and 7th in standard scoring last year) so while you do have insurance against an injury and possible trade, I think I'd rather have one of them and have used the other pick on a skill position. Unless there was just too much value with where you picked them.

Rivers dropped much farther than expected, since fat face has some tough matchups late I thought it was good insurance. 10 team league.

I've noticed a lot undervalue Rivers, at least according to my own value of him. Funny thing is I went to look at my Draft results and the guy who took Stafford 4th overall, took Rivers in the fourth round as well, with guys like Gronk, Jordy, Cobb, and A.J. Green still available. This league does reward QB more points than standard and first three picks were Rodgers, Peyton (mine), and Brees so Stafford isn't completely crazy at 4, though drafting another QB three rounds later is. It's a family league and first year playing in it, my team is pretty stacked.

If AJ Green, Cobb and Gronk were available in the 4th round...I imagine anyone competent could certainly stack their team. Wow

Some family needed one more and knew I was a football fan so said sure. Most of them have played before so I figured they wouldn't be too bad but they kinda were. My first five picks were Peyton, Forte, Megatron, Gronk, and A.J. Green. So yeah.

Here is what I wound up with for my draft (I picked 8th out of 12), we have a PPR league but passing TDs score 6, and we get .25 pts for each rush attempt. For once I am not unhappy with my team after the draft (which probably means I'm doomed to finishing like 10th out of 12).

    1. (8) Demaryius Thomas (Den - WR)
    2. (17) DeMarco Murray (Dal - RB)
    3. (32) Vincent Jackson (TB - WR)
    4. (41) C.J. Spiller (Buf - RB)
    5. (56) Julian Edelman (NE - WR)
    6. (65) Nick Foles (Phi - QB)
    7. (80) Charles Clay (Mia - TE)
    8. (89) Ben Tate (Cle - RB)
    9. (104) Rueben Randle (NYG - WR)
    10. (113) Martellus Bennett (Chi - TE)
    11. (128) Jordan Matthews (Phi - WR)
    12. (137) Andy Dalton (Cin - QB)
    13. (152) Chris Ivory (NYJ - RB)
    14. (161) Cincinnati (Cin - DEF)
    15. (176) Mason Crosby (GB - K)
    16. (185) Buffalo (Buf - DEF)
    17. (200) Knile Davis (KC - RB)

I like Spiller to bounce back so I'm a fan of this draft WRs are strong. I think the Foles/Matthews connection will be a solid one late in the season.

For an 8 team league its average. Love the RB's but you need another WR. Mike Wallace may emerge for you and between he, Garcon and Harvin you may have enough to at WR2 to off of matchups but Id just as soon package Harvin and Garcon or Wallace and see if you cant get a stud WR2 based purely on their name recognition. I actually really like Wallace this year if the offense is going to be more of a quick hitting style like Philly's was last year. He could be this years Desean Jackson (i.e. rebounding off a poor year in a fantasy friendly offense). I just as soon get rid of Garcon's foot woes....just imo. Everything else should be ok but that may hold you back.

WR's went really fast in the second round after my pick. I was unhappy with it as well honestly, I'm hoping Harvin can have a big year healthy and with a good amount of targets. Obviously I'm happy with Jordy. I went the route of securing several second tier WR because none of the first tier were available. Hopefully one has a break out year or I can play week to week.

Julio Jones was somehow left but picked right before I could take him so that was disappointing.

We have a good bit in common. RG3 is the big question mark there, but backing him up with Foles was smart. Is TE merely a flex option?

Ahhh I forgot to add I have J. Thomas (Broncos) at TE.

I like him getting more looks with Decker gone. I wanted Cam Newton at QB but he went right before me so I took RGIII. Foles was available much later so I grabbed him.

My only complaint about that team Tony would be QB's. Youre going to have to play matchups and risk inconsistency there especially with Kaepernick. Id look at trying to get a Romo, Rivers, Foles, Newton etc. The RB depth is a concern. A few of those guys probably arent rosterable.

My PPR draft is complete...I think its "ok" 10 team league.

    QB Brees
    RB Forte
    RB R.Bush
    WR E. Sanders
    WR K. Allen
    WR B. Cooks
    TE Rudolph
    DST Seattle
    K Parkey

    Qb Luck
    RB Gerhart
    RB A. Williams
    Wr M. Wheaton
    Wr K.Stills
    TE Kelce
    WR J.Mathews

Hoping to package Luck or maube even Brees for a better WR...they were flying off the board at a record pace. Allen will hover around the top 10, Sanders and Cooks is a wild card.

    12 Team..Non-Flex..Non-PPR..Standard Scoring..6 pt Passing TDs

QB - Tony Romo (Rnd 7)
    WR- Dez Bryant (Rnd 1)
    WR- Cordarrelle Patterson (Rnd 4)
    WR- Mike Wallace (Rnd 5)
    RB- Montee Ball (Rnd 2)
    RB- Toby Gerhart (Rnd 6)
    TE- Rob Gronkowski (Rnd 3)
    K- Justin Tucker (Rnd 14)

    BN- Jordan Reed (Rnd 10)
    BN- Bernard Pierce (Rnd 11)
    BN- Kenny Britt (Rnd 12)
    BN- Mike Williams (Rnd 15)

Passed on Foles to take Romo, not sure if that was the right choice but hey we'll see. Not too thrilled with my backs but they have big potential and the value was too high to pass up IMO.

What do you guys think? I won "Best draft" rated by Yahoo and proj. to finish 1st, if that means anything lol

I wouldn't really worry about #2 back, Jennings should have a good year. The only thing to worry about is if either of them go down this year, as much as I love our Dolphins I don't trust Moreno or Miller in the back field.

Very solid draft imo. You should be happy with your backs, Montee Ball should be a top 10 RB Non-PPR and probably a top 5 in PPR formats. I'm not personally high on Gerhart but he should be a workhorse since theres no other RB on the team so you should count on him to put up decent points. You also have a #1 RB in Pierce for the first 2 games of the season and he should poach a lot of carries from Rice throughout the rest of the season.

You're WR's are studs and I love the pairing of Tony Romo and Dez. IF Wallace and Tannehill get their **** together you might not lose a game all year. lol

I'm in an old school league. Touchdowns gets you 6 points and 1 point per 50 yards receiving/running. Lol it's a weird league but anyways 10 teams, I had 5th pick

    Russell Wilson
    LeSean McCoy
    Zac Stacy
    A.J. Green
    Julio Jones
    Greg Olson
    Justin Tucker
    Kansas City

    Bench
    Tannehill
    Vereen
    Cooks
    Clay
    Zuerlin
    Minnesota

In this league you can only have 1 backup lol. But I know my te and qb are a little weak.
