Loved Lucy as Xena, but effortless sex appeal wouldn't be how I'd have described her then, and certainly not 15 years later. I was always a fan of Gabrielle

'S.H.I.E.L.D.' Enlists 'Nikita' Baddie http://tvline.com/2014/07/30/agents-of-shield-season-2-simon-kassianides/ They're rounding out the supporting cast nicely. I suppose the additions are part of the pressure to fill 22 episodes per season, as opposed to the 13 or so usually allotted for a show with this high a budget. And I wonder if shorter seasons aren't in the offing for S3 and beyond, if it does get that far? I would think that the grueling nature of a long season and how that must impact some of the more film-oriented cast would wear on the show eventually; not to mention that the writers might start flagging.
Once Cap 2 finally came out on DVD, I was able to watch that, and then the final six episodes from last season. Watched the new one last night, and I think that they're doing a good job with it. I was a little worried at the beginning, but the seems to be going in a good direction.
Just caught up after binging (my my standards) six episodes over the last two weeks, so that I can be caught up and ready to go for Avengers this weekend. Curious to see how much of the show is actually related to the movie. Obviously not as much as Cap 2.
I missed the last episode of the mid season finale, so I stopped watching until hit Netflix. Holy crap!!!!!! That show is waaaaaaaaaaaaay better then it gets credit for. My 2 biggest observations are: 1. The *****ing about the first half of season 1 has to stop. Without that first half....NOTHING great from then on would have mattered. It was necessary and vital to set things up that were paying off even up to the last few seconds of season 2. 2. The show feels like a comic book. Which is an incredible achievement. Its pacing, its story lines, its twists and turns, are all 100% comic book like.
going to Boston Comic Con in a couple of weeks. Going to do a photo op with my daughter with Haylee Attwell. Going to have to control myself around her. Not Agents of Shield, but Agent Carter is close enough.
Also signed up for Stan Lee and Gillian Anderson. The latter being a long time crush for about a decade.
