I am now officially a Miami Dolphins Season Ticket Holder! I don't know if it's gonna' end up being a good or bad decision lol. I am pumped though, it feels good. Like I am now a true fan, if that makes sense. Just thought I would announce it, don't know if this is the right spot so if not the mods can please move it. How many others on here are members? I picked up some seats in the upper prime on the 45 a few rows back, (my favorite spot to watch the games) I feel like you can see everything i.e. plays developing down field, who's open before the ball is thrown etc. Also most fans in the upper deck don't complain when you stand up and scream like the ones down low. I can't wait 'til my membership package arrives, gonna' be like a kid on Christmas. Let's go FINS!!!
Wish I could, but it's one lllloooonnnnngggg drive from here in the middle of South Georgia, and there's that other little problem about my working on Sunday morning and don't get off until Noon or thereabouts. Enjoy, and I hope you see some wonderful Dolphin Wins..
I just bought tickets for the 1st time since 2010. I vowed not to renew until Ireland was gone and I did. Also 12 other friends have bought multiple tickets for the same reason. It just feels so much better to be a DolFan these days
I hear ya, feelin' pretty optimistic right now. Even though I am pretty much every season aside from '12 but now their is a little added excitement lol.
Congrats. When I lived in Jacksonville, I always purchased the 4 game plan and had a great time. I bought tickets for Dolphins@Bears here in Chicago last week. For what I paid, I could have had 4 games in Miami!
Awesome dude! I've been to a handful of football games and I agree that sitting upper deck between the 30's are the best place. You see the entire field perfectly. I'll be waiting for my invite. I'm free all season!
Congratulations! Hope you enjoy the tickets. I seriously contemplated buying season tickets this year, but I felt the drive from Orlando every week was a bit too far.
I agree a ride from Orlando every home game would be too far. I would make the trip a couple times a season though if you could.
I'll see you Oct. 12 for the Packers game. My annual Dolphins trip and 2nd time to Miami for a home game.
As someone who was a season ticket holder for over 40 years, I'm sure you will enjoy being a season ticket holder. No matter what the minor faults might be with the stadium, there is absolutely nothing better than being in the stadium on game day. Sitting at home and watching the game on TV just isn't the same as being in the stadium experiencing the excitement of the game in person. While I love living in Hawaii now, the thing I will miss most once this season begins is sitting in the stadium at Dolphin and Hurricane games and cheering for my teams to win the game. Hopefully many other, so called Dolphin fans, will get up off their cozy chairs at home and actually attend some games this coming season.
Yeah , get off your asses, get to the damn stadium, get in Your seats before kickoff, and stand and cheer when were on defense......damn it.
Good year to start imo, the offense really will be high flying and we should win 5 or 6 home games at the very least. Win 8 home games and we'll be looking at a first round bye with a little home field advantage in the playoffs. OK the last part is unlikely, but one can hope.
Congrats! Wish I could, but I live 1000 miles North. This will be the first ever season I get to watch all 16 games live when they happen though (as Im now an unemployed stay-at-home dad, lol), so at least I have that! Blacking myself out on Sundays from my phone and PC at work and watching on DVR was a killer, but it was better than not seeing them.
Congrats!! Oh how I wish I could do the same, but I'm stuck in Upstate NY. I will be down now for the second year in a row - coming down w/ about a dozen friends for the Bills TNF game. Last year we did the Chargers. It's the best I can do at this point, maybe someday, I'll get to two games a year down there. Enjoy! It's a privilege to be able to purchase those tickets!
First time season ticket holder here also. Got lower corners sec 106. It's the sunny side, but in a couple years there will be shade! Hooray for stadium upgrades. This is one of the most important years in Dolphins history...going to be a lot of fun witnessing it in person. I like where this team is headed.
I can't understand the reasons some of you stated for not going to the games. I for sure didn't like Ireland too but not going to the games because of him? Of course the last decade was full of mediocrity (at best) and gave us plenty of reasons to be critical. But: I live in Switzerland/Europe and it's not a long time ago, I had not even a chance, to see the Fins Games on TV or Internet. So all you guys living near Miami (Orlando wouldn't be a distance for me) enjoy the privilege to attend the games live with friends at the stadium.
