Don't be ridiculous.

Its against us, which means possession changes and the opposing team gets the ball on our 2 yrd line. First down.

 

This really does stir up irrational anger in me. Throwing the word "gate" behind every conspiracy/scandal is just so ****ing dumb. It doesn't even make sense!

Well,Martin was a bum for a football player, but, he didn't need to be called names in classic bullying fashion, nick naming Martin "big weirdo" on national tv as a rookie, who probably had issues coming in, was the spark, and the signs are all there for what transpired over the next two years..

"Weirdo" is a word that shouldn't be used in describing another person unless the persons character deserves it, I can totally see it being hurtful , and I don't care how old someone is, it's wrong, Pouncey once again showed no display of any type of intellect or compassion..

They didn't punish us for trying to recover a fumble, they rewarded New England for us trying to cover a fumble.

 

The NFL's statement was incredibly vague. It definitely wasn't "it's over". It had a fell of saying there are still processes being done, and that on satisfactory completion of those processes it will then be over.

My guess is that the NFL has ordered Pouncey to undergo counselling etc., but if he fails to attend then it will be revisited.

Lol, it's something that's been on my mind since it happened, everyone laughed and blew it off like their just dudes being dudes, but it offended me and I felt for the guy..it's really classic bullying..name calling, and " big weirdo"has no positive connotation to it..it's not even a word you can say it's just fun.

 

Funny you mentioned that. When Fin_D mentioned the especially harsh penalty, I was about to ask him what New England has to do with this.
