Miller is such an enigma...he has everything you want in a RB, but it just doesn't show on the field, all the time...Moreno can be a solidifying force in our tenuous backfield...I hope it's 'not as bad', as you said...

If the reports are true, it sounds like a torn meniscus. I had that surgery about 6 months ago, and it is just a minor procedure. I recovered in just a couple of weeks, and I'm an old lazy dude.

It hasnt shown on the field.....YET....First year he is behind a very productive Reggie Bush. Last year he was behind arguably the worst o-line in NFL history. With a crap O-Coordinator that liked to try to set up the run while passing 60 times......I still have faith in him.

Well he should go under the knife today or 2maro if true..and he does need to tighten up his diet before camp..you can lose weight without exercising.

I haven't seen anything to tell me he's in shape or out of shape, but if this is happening it obviously needs to happen now. Not sure why the problem wasn't identified earlier.

If he hasn't had surgery yet then maybe it's a partial tear. I had a partial tear a few years back, was on crutches for 7-10 days but back to full strength within 4-5 weeks w no surgery.

To be fair to Miller, he's been our #1 RB in terms of rushing average, in each of his two years.

    2012:
    Lamar Miller: 4.9 yds/carry
    Reggie Bush: 4.3 yds/carry
    Daniel Thomas: 3.6 yds/carry

    2013:
    Lamar Miller: 4.0 yds/carry
    Daniel Thomas: 3.7 yds/carry
    Mike Gillislee 3.5 yds/carry
