Funny that Rex is now bailing on this. Pettine really just seems to be following Rexy's lead with taking shots at NE... Ryan was mouthing off about the "Guy in New England" a month or so back being bad at drafting. Now Rex has nothing to say. Funny...

I'm gonna be sad the day Rex is canned.

Saban probably traded a bucket of chicken wings for it and Rex couldn't pass up that deal.

The article by Peter King where Pettite makes those comments...

Just posting it because I found it interesting. Not so much the shots at Ryan and Belichick, but I really like the way Pettite thinks. His interview is very interesting. His theories and management style is exactly what I want from a coach. Great X's and O's guy with the awareness and aptitude for understanding the subtleties of the game. I especially enjoyed his comments on practicing 3rd downs and red zone offense with greater volume.

If their QB situation ever gets situated with Hoyer or Manziel in the next few seasons, it wouldn't shock me if Cleveland becomes a contender in a few seasons. Pettite's going to be a good HC.

Rex is Vince Lombardi compared to Philbin. I'm going to be devastated the day Ross realizes he's a half wit and fires him.
