http://www.palmbeachpost.com/news/sports/football/miami-dolphins-sign-6-foot-5-receiver-stephen-will/nfxmz/ "The Dolphins have a quality group of receivers competing for spots this year, but Williams has one thing the others don’t: height." What is philbin really saying about last years WRs? We already have more than enough camp bodies so that can't be the reason for these additions. This guy, who is a journeyman, was released last Monday.
In theory he fits the bill for a tall endzone WR but he has spent most of his NFL time on the injury list .He has spider like skinny legs .I wonder if that has been a reason as to why he has been injured so often.
This is why I thought we should've targeted Brandon Coleman in the late rounds. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1737368/brandon-coleman Saints signed him as an UDFA, and they've got a pretty good track record with receivers.
I remember watching this guy in preseason for the Seahawks last year and came away impressed. The odds are against him to make the squad, but it's an intriguing signing none the less.
Now this is the definition of a project signing, but still, Gibson and Matthews must be shaking their heads. Wallace, Hartline, Gibson, Mathews, Landry, Damian Williams, Armon Binns, Stephen Williams, Matt Hazel, Ryan Langkford, Rontavious Wooten.
