Maybe next year. Disappointed that they stripped so much of the fun and rewarding elements out of franchise mode last year and kept them out this year. The salary structure has just gotten worse and worse each season too. First time in the franchise I haven't gotten it.

I'll assume you're referring to your MLB TheShow 15 player and not your firstborn. Because either way, yes.

Got my first career hit in my 3rd AA game; a 2 RBI single. Very satisfying.

    Too bad we're 0-3.

I was like the 19th pick in rd 1 by the Nationals.

    NICE!!! What position?

Dude I walk into Gamestop with my buddy who was getting something else and he likes the mag subscription so he is one of those "Pro-Player" card holders....It just entitles you to more on a trade in and cheaper pre-owned games.....

So I go over look, PRE-OWNED The Show?!?!?! I am like wtf, go ask and the dude said a young kid bought it digitally, was downloading it, apparently took forever so he got nervous thought it didn't work. He then GOES to GS and buys a hardcopy, goes home and????? It was downloaded so he returned it lol.....

I traded in Tomb Raider and the preowned MLB was 49 so I paid 15 bucks for it.....Win....Subtle fist pump....

The updated roster download took foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr....will make my guy tonight....

3rd base with a backup position of 2nd (might alter to SS though).

And yea, the Show was not downloading properly for a number of people. How little restraint must you have though if you can't wait an extra day, where you're willing to give up ~$20?

I managed to get it for $48 before tax because I am in Best Buy's gamer's club (20% off new games).

    1st double-A HR!! 368ft.

I had been getting them in BP, but the two times I came close in games I was so early to anticipate they went foul. This one was late and out to right field. That was after I doubled and scored off fielding and throwing errors all in my at bat.

Only took me 37 at bats.

Do you play with the Pitch Guess on? I do because I like trying to guess the location and pitch. However when you do guess JUST the pitch right, when the ball is pitched it turns red at first then goes back to white during the pitch. IT IS TOTALLY THROWING ME OFF, is there anyway to turn off the ball from changing colors if you guess it correct?

Before if you guess the pitch right the Pitch Zone Indicator would light up, and if you guess both (pitch and locale) the whole zone AND the location you choose would....

Sometimes I dont guess both and just guess the pitch, because I look for a particular zone, however again if you guess just the pitch right the whole box doesn't light up but the ball does....Weird...

    There is alot of "guessing".....

I didn't notice the color changes when you get just the pitch right (I to was looking for the indicator to light up or something). I do play with pitch guess, and it does seem like your zone slightly increases if get location right, but not the pitch.

It's easy to know if you get both guesses correct. I usually just sit on fastball until I have to protect the plate.

LOL I'm still playing 2013 on the PS3. If I had about $450 lying around I might go buy a PS4 and this game just for the fact that your RTTS players can now carry over to future games. That was the smartest thing they've ever done with this game. I rarely play long enough to get a player too far into MLB. Now there's potential to actually play a whole career with a guy.

I guess I should be flattered a little bit. I just got traded from the Nationals to the Blue Jays for 1B Adam Lind.

Still in AAA, not having as productive numbers as I was in AA, but still a good average at least. Also the Bisons are first in the division so I should make the playoffs here when I wasn't going to in Syracuse.

I went 7th round. Mostly due to the fact that I couldnt catch up to a f'n change up. Seriously, anyone else have this issue? I literally was extremely late on everything, which then forced me to swing earlier, which then forced me to swing at EVERYTHING.

Speaking of hitting instructor. It pisses me off watching these animating swings being so bad. Why wouldn't they strap some balls onto Miguel Cabrera and use that swing. Instead it looks like they pasted balls on a 8 year old to get their swing.

And wow, 8 SOs. I don't strike out often, I usually put the bat on the ball, I just don't get a lot of big hits.

Starting to settle in, .286 with a .310OBP (I have 1 walk)....0 home runs, and 10 RBI's......I hit one high off the wall yesterday, thought I had it....power will come..

I am putting all my training points into Contact L/R, plate vision and discipline for now, when I started to make the guy I put as much into speed as possible so that is at a 75 already, I lead the league in doubles hahahaha But yeah I need to be better at contact, clutch and checking my swing (I hate when I do check it and I get punched out)

KC has organizational depth at 1st so I might get traded alla Pete, or somebody else will...

I had to start over. I got called up to the majors as part of spring training, but I was supposed to be the AAA starter. Anyways, they kept me on the roster as a bench player. I went like a whole month with one start, and got fed up with playing time. I kept asking for playing time, or a trade, or even changing positions to get more PT and nothing. Ended up simming the season just to see how it went and I only got like 20 starts total. I went through the offseason, and again I was signed to a 1 yr contract as MLB Bench player. Again, simmed (this time changing positions prior to the offseason each time), and every time I wound up on the bench and only playing in a handful of games.

I was sick of the lockdown so I just started over as a 2B. Ended up going like 16th to the Orioles.

I went through like 14 AA games (including a stint on the 60 day DL with fractured hand), all with at least 1 hit (it was way easier after being used to Major League pitching) and got called up to AAA. Played to the all star break there (while batting a ridiculous .400) and then got called up to be the starter at 2B for the Orioles (they are putrid at 2B). I am not nearly good enough yet to play in the majors though IMO (only like 70 overall; and most my stats are just 50s). I started my career off 2-3, then went hitless for 4 games. I'm starting to pick up and not be the worst batter on the team, but it's tough going for sure.

I just picked up MLB Show '12 for a few bucks the other day (I was in a baseball type mode and needed a fix). I started playing RTTS for the first and its pretty fun. I started as a CF but that going boring quick on defense, so I restarted as a SS.

Is there alot of differences between '12 and '14 for the people that have played both?

    .321/.369/.598 7HR 35RBI's through Mid-May...

Lead the league in hits and top All-Star vote guy at 1st.....in AA.....I would expect a call up to AAA or to be traded because KC is loaded with 1st base talent...
