Kyle fuller corners the market...that's a good call by CK. Bishop Sankey as a first round pick. Morgan Moses out of the first. Don't know how anyone can put Mosley in front of Donald but I'm gonna have to back and watch some more film on Mosley..I'm so concerned with his frame.
59. Jack Mewhort, OT, Ohio State 60. Ja'Wuan James, OT, Tennessee I'm not a fan of JaWuan James but I hate Jack Mewhort far far worse.
Jesus I Just saw a ridiculous play by Anthony Barr.. It was a pistol play action fake reverse, he comes off the edge in the backfield, see the play unfold, hesitates slightly to read, three things happen At once that could of fooled him, the Qb could of handed off to the back, the Qb could of ran, the fake to the end on the reverse, and the handoff to the end on the reverse..he read it perfectly for a 7 yard loss. The end got the ball on the reverse.
If Mayock is right, we should be able to take any position in the 1st, whichever is BPA and still get a RT in the 2nd. However there are no guards anywhere near pick 81, our 3rd rounder.
Sankey is a fine young man, good character, and a good runner in his own right, but better than Carlos Hyde? No way.
I do not hate either one. When I watch JJ, I see an efficient, sound, and quietly effective blocker, both run and pass. With Jack, I see a player with a good base and balance, and strong hands. When he locks on inside he usually controls his man. I'd rather have him play RG though. He and JJ side by side on the right would suit me just fine. I'd rather have Joel Bitonio than either one though.
I believe Sankey has a wider range of skills but the only real concern is did he get too many touches at Washington.
Stanley Jean-Baptiste listed in the top 32 is interesting. That was Mayock's pick to surprise in the 1st round when asked recently. I haven't seen him in anyone else's top 50, let alone top 32. He referred to the league trying to copy the Seattle style of defense with the longer corners, but Jean-Baptiste doesn't seem to be the most physical corner despite his size.
