http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/...tential-of-this-team-20140422,0,1605064.story Nothing special in the short article, but it would be huge if this guy plays like he did last year and hopefully only gets better.
How much more pain will a Miami dolphin football team have to endure before we actually see the team play angry the next year after disappointing the previous year. Every year we see no emotion on Our football team...time to aquire a different breed to play in this freakin town..I'm sick of it.
I think circumstances have changed. Last season, we should have made the playoffs and choked big time. Previous seasons we just plain sucked.
So the team will play more angry and make the playoffs this season, championship game next season and then … To be honest, I'm happy if Clay, Grimes, Wake and Vernon can hold the high level. The rest has to step up or at least show some consistency. Coaching is another story.
I still could show you countless quotes over the years about how our team doesn't play with any emotion.. It's very hard to play with a lot of emotion in our building, I know this to be true, it's why we need a different breed of player..ones that just don't give a bleep, ones that are always angry and want to hurt someone.
No they don't. What kind of world is it, that there's only boy scouts OR people who hit their spouses/molest women at charity functions/cause national scandals?
It's very possible to play at different levels of intensity and emotion, there are many factors in determining those levels, home field advantage is a huge one. The other day I heard Marcellus Wiley talk about what it feels like to look up in the stands and see empty seats and a subdued crowd...he said that every player notices it, and it has tremendous impact on your emotional intensity.
Word.. Back on topic, we need 52 other Charles Clays.. Goodness he took his game to another level last year.
