Is there any doubt this kid is the next Welker / Edelman? With speed ... 4.4. He looks like a clone. Would love to get him in the mid-late rounds. I like these types that seemingly get open on every play because of their quick cutting ability, route running and reads. They are just a QB security blanket. 1st down makers. He would be a nice addition..we haven't had a fourth receiver that could do anything in a while..let Matthews push Hartline, let this kid become our slot.
Bess wasn't as quick footed, imo, and ran a 4.70. Campanero ran a 4.40. Campanero had a 39 inch vert. Bess had a 31 inch vert. Campanero is simply a better athlete - faster, quicker and more athletic in virtually all the drills and seems to be quicker on the field. Whether he becomes Welker or not, I don't know but he's a lot more athletic than Bess. Though, as a slot WR, Bess did a pretty good job getting open. And, had incredible hands. He just had zero RAC.
Reminds me of the guy CK talked up a couple of years ago, Devon Wylie. Also I see a bit of Dante Hall in him. Would be on board with this pick depending of course who was there and who we had picked already.
I'm with deej. I remember CK having me convinced on him a couple of years ago. He ended up in San Fran I believe after a couple of detours. He might one of those that it takes a couple of years before he fits in.
