http://nfl.si.com/2014/04/07/arizona-cardinals-yeremiah-bell-retirement/ Bring him back for a 1 day contract. Let him retire a phin. I always liked him.
Yes .He was reliable. One of our few lower round draft picks that actually had a good and long career. He was a big hitter in better years.
Hit like a truck when ever his launching landed on someone... terrible at coverage.. still liked him.
Couldn't cover a ham sammich on a cold plate, but the guy had heart, made huge hits, and gave his all. Loved him while he was here.
I forget. Did he play for Pitt? Or was he from Pittsburgh. I know he worked in a steel mill. Always thought he was our Rudy. Or maybe not Rudy but the other one set in Pittsburgh. Early Tom Cruise movie... Ah well. Must have executed those particular cells already. What? Turn that damnable music down. PUNK KIDS! GET OFF MY LAWN!
According to his Wiki, Bell is from Kentucky and worked in a steel mill for two years before attending Eastern Kentucky.
Did Joey Porter ever retire ? I know Wes Welker is retiring but I don't know if that source s reliable. and speaking of retiring why is it that no more dolphins have been mentioned for getting into the hall of fame . we should be lobbying for Richmond Webb , Zach Thomas , Mark Clayton and Mark Duper.
Webb has been retired for so long without a mention, that he likely never gets in. Clayton and Duper the same, though those two are now in the Fins ring of Honor. I think that Zach gets a shot at the HOF when he's eligible, but the national narritive on him was never as good as his reality. The media loved Ray Lewis and Urlacher more, which will hinder his chances.
One of my favorites for sure. I also believe he has the dolphin record for most sacks as either a safety or DB in general. I think he set it against brady too.
