I still have the original sitting in my Steam queue. Heard great things about the game itself, less the quality of the PC port.
I'm definitely getting this. Loved the first one-- been so busy with work not sure when I'm really gonna get to play it much but expecting good things out of it
Yeah.. I also have Darksouls on Steam (installed and ready to play). It's a weird situation for me. For one, as much as I play video games... I'm not very good at video games. I'm average (at best) at MP shooters like Titanfall or CoD. I'm good at hack slash God of War types... But everyone describes this game as super hard and grueling. I just can't imagine myself playing this ridiculously hard game and not getting annoyed and stopping after the first thing annoys me. So somewhere in my own sick twisted mind I'm preserving this great game that people are describing to me by not playing it. Tell you what... Second Son comes out this Friday. If Desides plays Darksouls on Steam, I will too (until Second Son lands). I'll split my time between losing at Titanfall and Darksouls. But only if someone else will suffer too. I'll twitch that **** too.
I'm doing 20+ hours of OT at work this week to cover for someone who took vacation. I can't do anything like that any time soon. It's an interesting as hell idea, though, especially the Twitch component. I'm not sure I believe the Dark Souls complaining. Yes, the game seems pretty cheap, but people also complained about Ninja Gaiden being absurdly hard and cheap when it really wasn't. The PC version seems to have its own bugs that make the game legitimately BS, though there seems to be a way around it.
Ugh. My laptop died the week after I got Dark Souls. It was so hard even my laptop died. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
LMAO! well if someone wants to do a Dark Souls Sufferage party, let me know. Add me on Steam: mor911 Not you Kingmo
While the game is hard (the first Dark Souls), it isn't as hard as some make it out to be, you just have to be thoughtful in your approach.
Played my first stretch Sunday. Definitely a trial and error game (same as the first one). It can be frustrating, but the hardest part for me is no pausing so you can't be interrupted (unless you get lucky and are sitting at a bonfire when the phone rings).
Picked up DS2 for PC. Gosh...I love this game...but why did I do this to myself. There is a ragequit lurking around every corner.
