    Would love this.

    Albert-Draft-Pouncey-Saffold-Clabo

That is a fantastic upgrade. You guys might not like Clabo after his awful start but he was great in the second half and I think would be a great signing for another year at RT for cheap. According to PFF he was a +11.6 total from week 9 on. That includes +11 in pass block during that time.

Then we could set our sights on maybe a TE, LB, or DT.

they should have traded for Albert last year, extended him for 3 years, and saved a lot of money. But nooooooo, the one that shall go nameless, couldn't get the job done. So glad he is gone, but we're still paying for his buffoonery.

Assuming the price tag is only big and not crazy, I'm down with that. Draft Zack Martin in round 1 to put at LG, and you have the makings of a very solid line. Saffold could perhaps be signed to play RT as well. Either way, I think that we need to get one of the really good LTs and a veteran guard through UFA, and draft someone high as well. The Bucs just released OG Joseph due to money and age, but he'd be a good addition if healthy.

We also had to give up a second round pick. Jamar Taylor was injured last year but all indications are he has a lot of talent and will be ok.

Saffold has said publically he does not want to be a right tackle.

Did you watch him play last year? He wasn't very good.

I believe his deal was only 1 year thus making him a free agent.

albert or monroe is a must. i dont care which, just get one. saffold would be nice also. bring back mckinnie as a backup at tackle. draft martin in the 1st. draft another guard in the 3rd round (brandon thomas). take sankey or mason in the 2nd round. lets get this party started.

Saffold would be a fantastic addition, very excited at the prospect of him and a Monroe/Collins/Albert duo.

The article also says that Dockett uses his twitter feed to invite women to eat chicken wings at strip clubs and to post pictures of alligators....something tells me he's not in the front office loop.

Yes, I agree w/Fin-O, Miami can (and SHOULD) do better than Albert. That's achieved by signing Monroe. He and Saffold would make a nice start to FA.

I'm totally down with taking Zack Martin in the 1st. This guy is another Logan Mankins, who was also a college LT, and became an All Pro LG. It would not be as sexy as taking a TE, WR, DT, LB, etc, but who wouldn't want the next Logan Mankins?

Davin Joseph, if he checks out medically, may be a decent option for a couple of seasons. Hickey should be all over that, as for knowing his worth. He grades out terribly though on PFF. 2nd worst overall guard in 2013. His pass blocking efficiency rating was far worse than John Jerry, and even worse than Garner or Incognito. Maybe Joseph would not be a decent option after all... :)

PFF has never graded him well going back through the years. TB ran the ball pretty well in 2012 with him out for the season. In 2010, when Blount ran for 1k at 5.0 a carry, he had 3 of his best 4 games after Joseph went out for the season in week 12.

I remember liking him when he came out of college in 2006. He made the Pro Bowl in 2008 and 2011, but since entering the league he has only played all 16 games, 50% of the seasons.

In Portland Oregon there is/was an ordinance that any strip club that served booze had to serve food, like a grill type of setup. This was back in the late 80s. I was in the USAFR in Portland at the time. One Saturday, some of my co-workers and I went to a strip club to eat lunch. Sandy Jugs on Sandy Blvd had good burgers and fries. So we would drive over there to eat lunch, watch the strippers for the lunch hour, then go back to base. One time, I was eating my burger, (they always came with a toothpick in the middle to hold them together) and paying more attention to the stripper than my burger, I neglected to remove the toothpick before taking a bite, and I bit down and impaled my tongue with the toothpick. It didn't go completely through I guess, but close. It hurt just a little, but did it ever bleed. I was pressing napkins against my tongue when we were going back to base and for close to an hour before the blood stopped. Kind of funny now, thinking back...

I doubt if he does know. It is an opinion. Many people post opinions to make them sound like facts. He could be right, he could be wrong.

Liking Hickey's mindset. Disagree with your idea to bring back Clabo, but drafting Zach Martin for LG (unless a great DT is on the board) then drafting a tackle and another guard to develop for backups/potential starters would be good imo. Find a RT in free agency.

Would like to see 3 of our first 5 picks be OL.

I've been hoping the overt Albert love is a smokescreen so we could snag Monroe under the radar.

If we are going to do it let's go all the way and sign Monroe at RT, Saffold at G, AND Val at RT.

Agree the wings are good, but the breasts and thighs are better IMHO...

Also ALbert's 30 going to require BIG money and has nagging back issues. He only played 12 games last year also right? Seems like money that will haunt us he's a 1-2 year stop gap no???

Albert has never played an entire season and he's even less likely to as he passes 30 and signs a big time contract. Monroe and Collins might be better long term fits.

I'm not sure we owe anything to Aponte. Shes a capologist. Many teams have them and some are better while some are much worse.

Yay. I'm glad we are back to talking about Aponte. I wish something actual newsworthy had occurred. We need some concrete movement.

Her being one of the best is hoghly debatable. I haven't seen anything to suggest she's better or worse than average.

I like Zack Martin also. I think it's only a 50/50 chance he will be there however. I think there is a good chance the top 4 OTs will be gone by pick #19.

I remember a strip club in Portland that served particularly good steaks and they were dirt cheap, like 3 or 4 bucks a pop. If I recall correctly the owner of the club owned a cattle ranch and that was the source of the meat.

Same here. Especially when I don't see the cost being that much different. I'd rather the more durable guy who can run block nicely in Monroe.

Saffold would be an absolutely HUGE upgrade at gaurd (either spot). It would be a big signing to get him along with one of the top LTs. I've heard a lot of good things about Veldheer. A lot of people really believed he wouldn't make it out of oakland

    The Acropolis?

Best one in town IMO is Casa Diablos. It's Vegan, has the hottest chicks I've ever seen on stage, doing stuff that I question the legality of.

It's an awesome time. Its like the strip clubs you see in movies, where it's a crazy party and everyone is having a good time.

I first went there because it was compared to the atmosphere in from dusk til dawn.

    Not far off.

Also, hearing we got Albert all but wrapped up. I wanted Monroe, but it's a huge upgrade and I'm assuming Monroe has baggage that we might not know about.
