I think the details show it. He got really good pass rush marks during the game but he also got some penalties and he was pretty bad against the run. If you're the NFL and you're looking at Dee Ford as a pass rush specialist then you're going to care more about the +3.6 pass rush grade than the other stuff. In fact if you look through his college history and decide he doesn't have a history of doing stupid things on the field penalty-wise then you probably look at him as having a +2.0 grade for the game even including his run stopping.
LOL. After Aaron Dobson's overall +6.8, the next highest grade is Chris Borland at a +2.9 and Zack Martin at +2.8. Talk about disparity.
