This is a spin-off of slick's oreo thread. You have you many different varieties of chips, pretzels, cookies, nuts, etc. For me, I love cashews and pistachios. They're probably my favorite thing to snack on. I'm not a huge fan of snacking on sweets unless it's cupcakes or pie but I consider that dessert more than an actual snack. I do love Doritos too. If you have never had Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos (purple bag) I advise you to get some immediately. It will improve your life by 25%.
Everything I eat is gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and low in sugar (with no frustose, maltodextrin, cane syrup, corn syrup, etc etc etc)… It's so narrow a band of snacks it's almost non-existant. I pretty much don't snack anymore unless it's raw almonds, etc. Welcome to California and a health-coach wife.
Squirrels. Jk I like candy. Peanut butter cups, dots, I'm also fond of ice cream even though it kills my stomach. Its wild thst I'm not fat lol
Got the recipe for Mrs Fields chocolate chip cookies that I tweaked a little and then add Heath bar pieces to. Dims be delish. Was gonna be a one night deal to satisfy a random cookie craving.... but now I cant stop myself. Don't even need the recipe anymore. Got it all memorized. Seriously think I need a Cookie Anonymous meeting or something.
Problem is I'm a man who loves his food but I can't really snack on cookies. No matter how delicious they are after 3 or 4 the sweetness becomes too much.
Great!! I'll bring cookies!! 1 1/4 cup all purpose four 1 1/4 cup oatmeal [blended to powder] 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder **mix together for nice consistency** Separate bowl 1/2 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1 stick salted butter [melted] 1 tsp half & half cream 1 tsp real vanilla 1/2 tsp almond extract 1/4 tsp canola oil 1 egg ** mix together Mix it all together.... then add semi sweet choc chips and chopped up Heath par pieces. Oven at 375. 9 minutes. form dough into golfball sized balls It'll look like they're not done but they are, especially if you like them chewy. I like to flatten 'em out a little when I first remove from oven. Pairs exquisitely with Colorado's new law. Any remaining dough- spread out like a log on wax paper, roll the wax paper up around it, and refrigerate. Makes it much easier to cut pieces off when removed from fridge when the dough is hard.
I'm an insulin dependent type-2 diabetic, so I have to be careful between meals. Usually, its South Beach granola bars and low fat cheese sticks. Sometimes an apple or some raw carrots. I drink A LOT of water, but I allow myself a diet ice tea or Sprite Zero a few times a week. But really, anything less than 20 carbs is generally ok. Very little fills me up at that level though.
I love the Snyder's of Hanover sourdough pretzel pieces (specifically the honey mustard flavor), but I don't usually get them at the store because I could eat a whole freaking bag in one sitting.
Cracker Jacks. OMFG. Best food ever. Ice cream Cashews Peppermint Patties Fruit (Yeah I love apples, grapes, clementines/oranges, bananas, peaches, nectarines, dried fruit, apricots etc) How Im not double my weight I dont know...because I do eat everything in sight.
I love those too, immensely, but I can't eat 'em cause they have too much gluten. -said the guy who recently became addicted to cookies
Blue Diamond almonds... all flavors.... including wasabi soy. Honey roasted cashews & almonds. Sweet spicy thai kettle chips. Boiled cajun peanuts. Boiled edamame soy beans [in pod] tossed in butter, sea salt, garlic, pepper, and Old Bay Seasoning.
Whiskey; Snyders big pretzels. I make a dipping sauce with yellow mustard, mayo and sriracha for them...very satisfying.
This god damn movie man. I have actually never seen it but my friends did and it's all they talked about and referenced for like 2 whole years. One of my friends has an ornament of it, and I'm dead serious.
It was really ****ing boring. I stopped midway through. It just wasn't enough to sustain my interest. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
PS: so do you cover your drink with a napkin whenever in their presence now? .... and have you decided who's anus you'd rather have your mouth sewn to yet?
It really is an awful movie. It has to be taken as pure camp. But I'd still say it's a must-see, just to laugh your *** off.
no but those are really really good. You should try them. As for the 80 remark...its not like I said life savers or werthers!
I have. Not a fan. In fact I don't like mint anything really. But peppermint patties seem to be another staple in the homes of the elderly.
