I have been watching the Saints tonight and wow they are a great team Losing to them doesn't look so bad right now . the Saints offense is fast and their tightend is definitely fast . their defense is amazing . so I think we played them better then we played some of the other teams at times that is. Losing to Buffalo and TAMPA Bay looks worse . I think Rob Ryan is a better coach then Rex and I would love to have Rob Ryan as our defensive coordinator . Unfortunately we need to rid us of Sherman more then any other personel moves . I watched the last drive in our game today and when you cant punch the ball into the endzone it almost came back to bite us in the ***. I wasn't aware that we were the only team this year to not score more then 30 points. in case nobody saw it the Redskins got obliterated by the Chiefs and it was a special teams delight they scored 4 special teams touchdowns . THIS is going to sound strange considering I didn't like Tannehill at first but I have to say I think Tannehll will be a better qb then RGIII . THE four deadliest teams that we want to avoid are KC , Seattle Saints and the 49ers . we are a bubble team according to some of the guys on fox . so beating the jets Bills and Pats is a must .
There is such a large talent gap between the Dolphins and the Saints. It is easy to tell that talent gap when you look at the numbers.
They also have Jimmy Graham and Marques Colston, a better offensive line, better linebackers, and have done a better job of getting players that fit their system.
The Bills loss and Bucs loss hurt no doubt. Should not have lost those games...BUT...One could also say that we should not have beaten the Colts, Steelers, or even the Falcons for that matter so i'll take the good with the bad.
Right. This is the NFL and most games are close. We have had ups and downs just like everyone. Now we need to finish strong.
Darren Sproles got a concussion in the 1st quarter, Saints were on the road, and Rex Ryan is somewhat familiar with the New Orleans defensive scheme.
It never was a bad loss. Losing to the Bills and injury depleted Ravens at home was. Lucky the AFC is a big bag of mediocrity this year aside from the Broncos and Patriots and maybe Bengals...though nobody actually trusts the Bungles.
I never attached regret of having "given" anything away in the road loss to the Saints, and considering no team has fared any better in the Superdome since, it seems aptly warranted. The Tampa Bay loss definitely left some welts of regret, but having now won 3 out of their last 4, it isn't exactly resonating with the same creaking steps to the league basement anymore either.
I don't think anyone trusts the Patriots either, especially without Gronk. KC is a much better team IMO.
This game was the only one that we really were bad in. The other 5 could and should have been won. We only lost those others by a combined 22 points. The stinger is failing to close out those games. All that matters now is destroying our division rivals the next 3 games.
Prior to yesterday's game they mentioned that Miami led the league in games decided by I think it was 4 points , and that they were 4 and 4. So yeah we can pick a few we feel we should never have lost but there were a few that could have ended less positively as well. Still , after the bye , who was starting at QB etc. etc. etc ..... but hey we have NE at home and can control this the last part of the season . Pretty pumped about that.
KC is what we were in 2008. They are a team that has feasted on a soft schedule. They have lost to every winning team they have played this year.
I am not so sure about KC they really put up the best special teams performance in the entire league yesterday. of Washington is a disaster in progress.
I was actually thinking about this, and the TB loss doesn't look as bad in hindsight as it did immediately after.
