Datta..Dat ..Dat... Miameeeee Has the Dawlfins....the Greatest..Football team..... We take...the ball from...goal to goal..... That was fun? wasn't it? YEAH IT WAS! - The best defensive Line in the NFL would have had a statement game if the footing was better. At least 4 sacks (you read that right) where there to be had with better footing. - Ryan Tannehill's signature game? maybe. Will say this...save for one mistake...he was a "hero" today. Played tough..made plays. - Say what you want, they survived the hottest quarterback not named Peyton in the NFL. As Chris Bosh would say...Good ****. - Brent Grimes. Ugh. Well...it can't all be Deion....sometimes it's JB Brown. Had a rough one. Still managed his share of plays. That hit...whooo! - Is Reshad Jones good? Yeah he is. Still has occasional issues....although I blame the defense. He is not the most "brainy" of safeties. he needs an assignment and be told to just go kill. - Daniel Thomas might have broken into respected status. That guy should be out for the year. He toughs it out and has a career game. I am told (this is REAL) that there is PAIN. A lot of it. He deserves more credit than he is already getting. Cortisone is a helluva drug. Game Balls: Daniel Thomas, Charles Clay, Cortisone. - Randy Starks likes to call Steelers Linemen "*****es" and tell opposing players that they suck. At least he got caught three times by field mics saying so....Please sign this guy. Our opponents are scared of him...that is a good thing. - Ellerbe is better than Dansby. yeah I said it. At least Ellerbe respects our franchise enough to not be a fat slob under-achiever. He also thumps. Dansby is a pansy. Now...Wheeler..jury is still waaaaaaaay out. I see you Kevin Burnett. - McKinnie is good right? right? we have wiggle room to fix this O-line with another 1 year deal for McKinnie...fix the rest? - Mike Pouncey is sooooo good. Probably our best player. Nah..yeah..he is. Best at his position in the NFL. Played his best game ever? maybe. Had a couple of mistakes..but he "called" a flawless game, and blocked one too. - So the Ravens pull it out. Somehow. They are toast. This 6th seed is ours...2-1 gets it. I suspect a three way tie will help us in the end. Root for San Diego guys. - Gronk is out...Brady will play from his back next week. I say...10-6. We WILL beat New England next week. NOW IS THE TIME..For a RAUCOUS crowd! Datta Datt Datt...Datta ...Datt Datt...
If we can beat the Patriots next week, I really really like our chances. Kind of happy they won today so they wouldn't be mad coming down to Miami. It will be a tough game next week but lets get it done! Tannehill with over a 95 passer rating in the snow. He makes mistakes but he is a tough kid that makes plays when we need them. Not to mention over 20 TD's now!!!! That hasn't happened in a decade. Enjoy it.
Not a fan of Pouncey at this point So uhm, did you see Brian Hartline's Td catch Sect? Fully stretched out, toes came out of his cleats via untying his laces in mid air? Yeah, that was pretty good
Hartline has the best feet along the sideline of anyone else I've ever seen and it's been like that for a long, long time.
Hartline..I like. Always have. He gives effort and is skilled. A perfect fit alongside the burner Wallace. We have a good mix of WR's now. Maybe upgrade the Slot, and give Matthews more looks at Flanker..use a 4 man rotation for our three Wr sets? Why nit on Pouncey? guy was AWESOME today. Showed why some call him our best player.
I get the sense Pouncey is a run around player, and he should be better then that FWIW though, think this was a huge huge win, as large a win as we have had in the last 5 yrs. Stealers, at home, in snow, playoffs on the line AND they had two leads? Impressive
Nit picking, but it is Toradol. It's an anti inflammatory, and it is so good that it will eat the lining of your stomach and then mask that pain. It doesn't make you high or drowsy. I always crack up when patients come in and try to tell me that they are allergic to toradol. For the most part, they aren't allergic, but they know toradol doesn't make them high.
yes..now is the time for a raucous crowd..sec, why cant you produce something on your station to rally the troops.
BTW...nice call those horse ****ers got in New England huh? THE REFS OWE US ONE. or two..or Three. Nice PI call..just brilliant....Jamar Fletcher would be proud.
Didn't expect to win in this weather and certainly not a season-high in points. Kudos to Daniel Thomas for taking the needle and absorbing some big shots. There have been others who have refused as much. Dansby appears to be having his best season out in Arizona, at least statistically. Had another Pick 6 and a sack today. That's 6 sacks and 3 INTs. Came into this game with 15 passes defended. Whether it was coaching, injury or motivation, perhaps it was never going to happen in Miami. - sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4 beta -
Been saying that since last season. I love Brian Hartline. He definitely makes the most out of what the Good Lord gave him.
What I mean by "round around player" is Pouncey is soo athletic, he normally finishes his assignment...fast...real fast.... Then he sort of runs around trying to help another player..it is rare to see his hat on someone when the play ends...he really really needs more on the field awareness
Both that TD and Clay's 2nd one were highlight reel plays. Hartline looked like Raymond Berry on that play, and Dan Fouts said it too. Berry also wore 82 which makes it even more similar. I cannot recall a game of ours where there were 2 TD plays that spectacular for the effort given. All the Wallace haters talking all week about how he has no effect on the other receivers by the attention given him. Well, all anyone needs to do is look at the first Clay TD and if they still believe that about Wallace they are a blind fool.
It appeared in the first half they alternated Garner and Brenner by series. Then in the 2nd half as near as I could tell it was all Brenner until the final series when they went with an extra lineman and Brenner lined up as the TE. I thought Brenner had the best game too, of his young career. Nice block on the long Thomas run to help spring him.
20 tds baby, let's not leave out mike Wallace, sure he hasn't Been mike Wallace but he has allowed clay to be clay, Brandon was balling b4 the injury, it might not show up on the stat page but Wallace had a big impact yesterday...
Clay's versatility is going to make him a nightmare for opposing defenses if he stays this consistanat. Then watch how it opens up the offense.
