I would doubt that Thomas plays this week personally, especially after a strong showing by the run game last week (jets only give up 2.9 ypc). I'd think they give him another week.

I saw him shaking his thumb in the Jets game. I thought it was bad at first. He kept grabbing it. Stayed in.
    Hit it on someones helmet.

At this point, we sort of know what Thomas is, would not mind Mikey G getting a shot to see if he can do better

Yeah i'd rather see Gillislee get another crack at it. He's got fresh legs and that can't hurt.

For whatever reason Miller ran with more authority last week, which isn't saying much but it was better than I expected. Maybe he's been saving himself for the end of the season... Either way, I'd rather see Gillislee in there than Thigpen or a banged up Thomas.

I would say the same thing for thigpen, it was said by the coaches all last week leading up to that jet game the emphasis for the skill players was to" break more tackles", philbin was adamant on a couple occasions...any coincidence all players that touched the ball toughened up and broke some tackles..

hopefully they don't have to be reminded but if thigpen could return kicks like that every week compared to what he's been doing all year id hook a microphone up his ***.

I'm all for them getting healthy for the playoff push, but I'd love to see Gillisee get another shot. He wasn't spectacular but it seemed every time he ran the ball he was god for 4 to 5 yards. Also I am hoping Tannehills thumb isn't serious. As far as digits go, the right thumb is the most crucial to any QB.

Better blocking last week Deej, what does bother me is THill consistently misses hitting Thigpen on those swing passes out of the backfield, to me that is where Thigpen would have a good impact on the offense

Seems to me, that Tannehill requires a certain amount of reps w/a Receiver to get it right, this is one reason why Hartline is continuing his success from last yr and Wallace finally seems to be heating up down the field.

And did you notice Tannehill began using his eyes to manipulate defenders in the Jest game?

I'll disagree with you on Thigpen, It looked to me that his mind was made up to not break stride from the get.

As far as Ryan I was watching in a sports bar, what did you see?

It takes him longer than avg to get comfortable with his receivers, once he is comfortable with them he throws a better ball

Lets just be thankful that tannys thumb is the only thing bothering him given the 40+ sacks he's endured

you sure that doesn't have to do with just the game starting to slow down some?...that's what I believe has been his own personal issue, adjusting to the speed...he isn't the quickest guy so I think that jump took longer than the norm..

He's consistently shown it though Deej, think about Matthews near instant success as a starter vs Wallace's struggles down the field until recently

Look at Miller on wheel routes, before he could not hit him to save his life, now he nails them like a champ. Suspect it is a product of few starts in college, his learning curve and comfortability level with receivers has to be quite high before Tannehill can get it done

3 yrs from now, with tens of thousands of reps, doubt this is even an issue for him

Judging from preseason I don't think Gills is a viable NFL back. But I'd love to be proven wrong. Just looked overmatched in terms of strength and the speed of the game, just lacked physical tools with this competition. Hopefully he finds a rhythm with the OLine.

He has to run smart and always take the positive yardage, imo, something Miller struggles with. No negative runs that set us behind down/distance. He could make a splash, I suppose...Crazier things have happened, like all those Tampa backups coming up and ballin.

I'm not quite sure where the steelers heads are at, but usually when it's must win time at home in a game like Sunday, your gonna see another level of urgency by a team that's been there before, which means the opposition has to play quicker, and at a time that Ryan is starting to look a bit more relaxed at the regular season level, we'll see if he can adjust..it's a big game for him, it's a big game for us in that we can see where he's at in his development..

What I go back to is that first half in New Orleans, he really handled the noise, the intensity very well for 30 mins..

He does look different, but if you run smart and have vision you can somewhat make up for the lack of physical tools. Look at Trent Richardson has all the tools you'd want in a RB but has no vision whatsoever. I'm really hoping he can build off of last weeks carries and give us some fresh legs for our playoff push.

he is not hitting him perfect, but in the NFL i expect thigpen to catch those passes

In his defense, Thomas's gameday performance is questionable pretty much every week.
