I didnt see this posted, merge if it already was http://mmqb.si.com/2013/11/26/cameron-wake-miami-dolphins-unplugged-robert-klemko/?eref=sihp I love this guy! Has his head on straight.
If he finishes out the year healthy then I'm not worried about him going strong another 3 years. Aside from this knee thing I can't remember him ever being hurt before.

He brings up a good point. Whens the last time we were sitting here last month of season..with the Playoffs in our own hands. Enjoy it me familio Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Great player, one of the best defensive players we've ever had. Hopefully he can stick around. Hopefully he can play in a playoff game in his career....
Uhm...a bit of story telling in there FFG...he did command a 1 million dollar signing bonus when he went with Miami. He had a great story about how he had an Acura for a decade, even with the signing bonus, his parents still have the first pair of Jordans he bought with his own money as a high schooler. To me, what he showed is what a lot of bonus babies (Gholston, Moss et al) lack, a fear of failure and never playing football again
We were 5-6 last season too, lol. But seriously, in 2010 we were 6-5, with home games against awful Cleveland, Buffalo and Detroit on the slate. Blew all three. Sparano's regime in a nutshell. 7-6 in 2009. Lost last three games. 8-4 in 2003. Missed the playoffs. 9-5 in 2002. Lost last two. Missed the playoffs. Its been a theme.
If there is a guy in the NFL today that could follow in London Fletcher's shoes and play defense at a high level deep into his thirties, it's Cam Wake.
Yeah, kind of amazing that he's only been here and handful of years and Olivier Vernon and Dion Jordan are 8 years younger than him. On the bright side though, I don't know any other athlete that takes care of his body as well as he does. And he hasn't had the same wear and tear as others his age. I think we could get another 4-5 good years out of him. Thanks for posting, ffg. I can't describe how much I love this dude. He gets it, period. He knows what needs to be done and how to do it and we're already seeing it rub off on other players like Vernon who are starting to make a name for themselves as well.
How awesome is Cameron Wake? Man I love that guy. Total class and production to back it up. A great example in the locker room. I think he can play many more years. The approach he takes to the game, his training, his body are all great.
Our leader has spoken.. Lets take the good from that Carolina game defensively, lets let Ryan play his game, and lets make a run at this thing.
If the coaches are good we should see this team improving over the last five games...Pouncey being back should give Ryan some confidence, I'd like to see Richie reinstated if the reports come back positive..and I'd like to see what our defense would look like with a healthy Patterson at the #2 and Nolan at the #3. I'd like to win 4 out of 5.
