    Hi all,

This is a bit of an odd one to post on a message board I guess, but my wife is expecting our second son on December 28th, and we've had a real hard time coming up with a name we both like. We have gone through a tonne of names and discarded them all for one reason or another, so I thought I could find another source of inspiration by throwing it open to the floor on here.

If it makes any difference to your suggestions, our first son is called Ashton and a couple of names we sort of like(ish) at the moment are Hudson, Flint, and Harrison; although we're not totally sold on any of them to be honest. My wife really likes Parker and Fletcher, but I don't so they've been veto'd.

    All (sensible!) suggestions are welcomed.

    Thanks in advance! :)

Fletcher is perfect. Then you can call him Fletch for short. Would have to give him Irwin as a middle name though.

... or name him Malik... Malik Emgoode.

msdolfan's youngest son's name is Parker. My son's name is Palmer and like that as much or more than ever and he is in his early twenties. He recently took a job in hockey to go with his degrees ( journalism , creative communications ) and is running into so many people that remember his name if not him per se from when he played . A unique but not weird or odd name has many advantages.

It's a Saxon name meaning "bold." Worked pretty well for Archie Manning, Archie Bunker and Archie Andrews. No one's going to call him Archibald. Don't listen to Sick. Go for it.
