    This surprises..anyone?

And they asked Kraken to work with Olivier Vernon, difference is Vernon is not a mentally fragile little 330 pd flower who did not want to play football.

    No, and that's what's frightening.

The coaches sent a known loose cannon to toughen up Martin. They had to know that such toughening up would not include constructive training tips and technique help. Incognito don't roll that way. The coaches wanted a madman to go after Martin and that's what they got.

No, his problems started...wait for it...in his desire to play football..which he did not which has become apparent in all of this.

W/o that drive, Incognito may as well been working with the air, there is no way to have known that was Martin's problem until he started working on those things, which he probably did work on..after prompting.

To me, this is where Philbin failed, after that chat he and Martin had about where Martin's head was at he should have not made him a first teamer and put all of the time into him.

Love how Omar says the following:

How the f*** did this *** clown reach that conclusion? It's also possible that Incognito and Martin actually had a friendship and that Martin snapped because he's an emotionally unstable individual with mental problems. Just as probable. Of course Omar has to side with the victim to keep the fuel burning and actually feel like he has something of substance to throw in to he fire.

Boy do I love the South Florida media. It's almost as if they wished this team imploded. Maybe one day this team will vanish and leave South Florida and all the douche bags like Omar will be unemployed.

No, I suspect alot of the hand wringing stems from people not understanding how a football team works, or how being teammates works, you push each other to be the best.

From the article, because i don't think many actually read it:

What this means is that our coaches did what all coaches do, Ritchie went too far and Philbin generally keeps the hazing to a minimum.

Basically, what happened here, is Martin's camp is really trying very hard to get money.

It just adds more fuel to the fire. The narrative is now going to be that the Dolphins actively encouraged Incognito to be a bully, and that he took things too far.

From a legal standpoint, providing that this is true, any potential lawsuits from here on out can now be reasonably directed towards the Dolphins franchise, as opposed to some sort of suit directly across Incognito.

Not to mention the further damage that it does to the team and the brand. I'm with Boik. I think things are going to get worse before they get better from here on out.

what's kind of funny about sending Incognito to toughen up Martin... I'm pretty sure we talked about it here during the offseason, that it would be a good idea if done correctly of course.

I dunno man, the more I hear it the more I think less and less of Martin as a person. What a little biatch man....Yeah Cogs was wrong for teasing him but whos to say Martin didn't deserve it. I loathe dudes like Martin in real life.

At this point it may come down to Ireland.

His drafting has been atrocious. Practically no help from any of our draft picks this year. Tannehill and nobody else last year. No ability to draft a serviceable running back or a half competent OL.

Ireland is going to be the fall guy, and rightfully so at this point. I'm done defending him. We can't continue to blow draft picks and expect to contend. Another 2nd rounder down the drain.

It's starting to look more and more like more heads are going to roll; and when heads start rolling, IT IS a big effin deal!

    Incognito's career might be over.

Coaches and FO personnel could be gone in the near future.

It doesn't matter what really happened and why, when the repercussions are severe, it is a big deal.

I like Richie as a football player and I have been glad to have him, but he may indeed have a criminal mentality. If he had not been such a good football player, who knows where he might be right now. As it is, he is young multi-millionaire, not worried about Richie at all.

My biggest thing is the offensive line. It's crazy to me that we didn't have a backup plan in the event that Martin didn't pan out at LT. Instead we waited until we lost a bunch of games and made a midseason trade for a guy who was on the couch at this time last year.

The lack of planning is egregious.

Yep. Which is why I'm flabbergasted we started the season with Martin out there when they knew there was the potential for it to go wrong down the road.
