Not entirely related to the Dolphins, but it is possible that we end up sharing a stadium with another sport again. Source.
I'm pretty sure Joe Robbie Stadium's original design plans were called for a soccer/football stadium.
It was hence the funny configuration. If we can ever get a world cup back to the US I'd love to see some of the group play matches hosted in Sunlife. Would be better for the economy then hosting a super bowl. Sent from my DROID RAZR HD using Tapatalk 2
Holy crap yes. I would love that. Miss the Fusion desperately... go to Ft. Laudy Strikers games as it is but it is not the same.
Orlando gets a MLS team. With the stadium deal done, it is pretty much a forgone conclusion. And deservedly so, with the support that City has received. Sent from my SGH-T959V using Tapatalk 2
I can't see how they'd play at SLS. Too many seats that won't get filled. From my understanding, FIU is the most likely spot. I think it would be great to see a MLS team in Miami. Loved going to Fusion games, and with the support of the biggest celebrity in the sport, it should work and I'd bet they will be good too as the league would want a team with Beckham's face on it to succeed.
The BBC are reporting that a new stadium would be built, so looks like they've ruled out, or couldn't come to an agreement on, sharing SLS. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/26054220
