So working on my own music festival company based out of the same venue..

    Let me pose some questions..

Small intimate venue, famous, about 400 seats, the hamptons in New York..

Looking to book three bands, three nites.the venue is intimate and spectacular.

Style of bands for first show...Gary Clark jr..Aaron Lewis.. Citizen cope..

Or, 2 out of those three with dunkein sheik as the third..

To make money on this venue I need to charge 225 to 250 a ticket..

Do you think I could sell it out for three nites at that price point, in that market, with a bleed to NYC.?

Opinions wanted...and thank you for taking any time..

Style of bands for the first show...

Are those the actual bands, or do the bands represent those artists?

As far as if it will sell out: IMO the ticket is pricey even for an intimate setting with decently famous artists (or famous artists), and I'd hesitate to pay that much even for my most favorite band.

Sell out? Don't think so, but you could sell a decent bit, I think.

Has there been any famous bands that played there in the past? You may be able to get them at a cheaper rate for the nostalgic value to them.

You think the average Citizen Cope or Staind fan is going to shell out 200 for a show? Are the narcotics included?

Sounds like an adult theater. Will Maynard be "performing"? Will FinD have his usual stage "access"? Will McLovin bring lube?

225 or 250 is fine for that market but the competition is half that. The problem is you can get tickets for better known bands like stone temple pilots for 50. I know because I did it and I was maybe 25 miles away from south Hampton. They have the money to spend there but you need a headline hot band to make them spend it there.

    One act vrs three??

I could do it at 225, and still make some money but this venue is expensive, and yes all the great acts play there..

Think you priced yourself out with those bands. Chris cornell was an interesting suggestion. Any way to make money at 100 per ticket?

I need to sellout the place because that's what will create the memorable ambiance..

    Gary Clark Jr.? Absolutely.

    Citizen Cope? Probably.

Gary Clark Jr. and Citizen Cope would probably garner the same type of crowd, it wouldn't be a bad thing to have them on the same bill.

Aaron Lewis and Duncan Sheik? Hell no, but that's my personal taste. You're going to have a lot of people grooving off Clark Jr. and Cope and then some overly depressed guy? Dunno.

The only one I kind of like is Clark Jr.

Are these the only choices or are you open to suggestions for other people? Do you have a bigger list of candidates?

Chris Cornell is a much bigger name at this point in time...And you cant really compare the beacon to anything on long island. The Beacon is pretty darn famous. I grew up on Long island....theres nothing Im aware of that has nearly as much history. If youve ever been in that building you know what Im talking about. Everyone used to play the Beacon Theater and many good ones still do.
