Merged: Brian Tyms poached from Practice Squad

Good for Brian. I hope he does well.

 

He played okay during the preseason, but he basically was playing against players who are no longer in the NFL. Since WR is probably the area of least need on the offense at this time, Tyms will not be missed. Hopefully he can go to the Browns and have a successful career.

 

Chad Bumphis also signed with Denver's PS. I'm not sure why it took so long for him to catch on, but he was the real training camp star for Miami. Miami cut him because they have preconceived notions about what they want in this position.

 

Bumphis is that kind of guy you may not hear about until someone goes down with an injury in December, he gets called up and then has a big play out of nowhere in the playoffs and everyone's like "Who the heck is this guy?"

Still wondering where in the world Jasper Collins is.

Tyms is a player that could have developed into a fine back up. I am sorry to see him go.

Wish him well, has talent and WR is the only place this team does not lack talent, or so it seems at the moment.
