http://sports.yahoo.com/news/dolphins-joe-lefeged-114039357--nfl.html The Dolphins also worked out offensive tackle Ryan Miller, wide receivers Nathan Palmer and Phil Bates and defensive back Trevin Wade They also worked out Joe Lefeged.
I played Lefeged in high school. He covered me the entire game. He's a good safety, but would not want to man him up. Has a ton of range though.
I think Lefeged is supposed to be a good special teams player, although I seem to remember he might have been flagged for something stupid recently on special teams. I might be thinking of the wrong guy but I thought Ryan Miller was pretty good. Maybe I'm thinking of Ryan Harris. I get them mixed up.
Miller was promising lineman for the Browns before a head injury and concussion lead to him being released. He played tackle and guard. If healthy now, he could be a really good pickup.
Together with Mc Kinnie it seems that the moral character demanded by Phibin has been relaxed somewhat.Perhaps he realized that If you insist on good character the pool of available players is considerably smaller or perhaps he is feeling the heat from Ross and worrying about his job.
I dunno....honestly....I kinda want the bad *** Richie Incog to come back. Wouldnt mind having a bunch of road hogs with attitude on the line.
Ryan Miller was completely knocked out in Brown training camp. Gotta wonder if hes really ready or not.
To put this in perspective.....EVERY state doesn't require that you register a firearm. DC is a city with very strict gunlaws and requires such registration. They also do not acknowledge out-of-state permits. So...if you are coming from a state that has no firearm registration and are passing through DC with an open container then all of those charges apply. It goes without saying that if your firearm is unregistered your ammunition likely is too. So really...this can happen to someone driving from Florida to DC and forgets to put their pistol in the trunk while taking a sip of brew while you drive which is not an uncommon occurence. I don't think this is scumbag territory.
Ryan Miller played RT in the 2012 East-West game as I recall. I expect you got a good look at him then?
What's sad is that you apparently have to have a license to own a fire arm, but you don't have to have one to vote.
Not sure when carrying a gun became something that constitutes bad character. We all have a right to own and carry a gun that was given to us by the 2nd amendment of the constitution, the document our current government continues to ignore. Most of the time, I have one in my truck and one on me. We have a new open carry law in Mississippi now that makes it legal to carry the gun holstered on your belt, which should have never been illegal in the first place.
