In the You won;t believe this **** file.....

Somebody well placed WITHIN the Dolphins Front Office CONFIRMED to me....

That the Front Office Explored signing Tim Tebow.

    Now for my threat...

If they sign Tebow as a QUARTERBACK...I am done with this season. I won't go to the games....I won't debate Dolphins football..I won't acknowledge them at all this year.

it would be my last straw....

    Now..as a H-Back...uhhhh....nah.

Explored being the operative word there. If they're still exploring, then I think the writing on the wall is just that much more visible.

It's not Tebow that would bother me so much. I wouldn't want him taking up a roster spot or anything, but the circus that comes with him..

I am not a fan of his (in fact I dislike him quite a bit), but signing him won't send me off the ledge. It could mean they're looking to trade Moore to a QB-needy team like the Bears or Rams and need a #2 or #3 (depending on what they think of Devlin).

We need someone to get short and goaline yardage plus he can block .The threat that he can pass will keep defenses honest and reduce the chance of stacking the box.I can see the benefits of such an idea .His contract would be equivalent to adding a FB except we would be getting more versatility.

Plus we would in a position to trade Moore if an attractive offer is made.

Hold on... hold on.. HOLD ON!! The key follow up to this is WHEN did the Dolphins look at Tebow? Was it today?????? Was it after he was cut by the Pats back in August? Was it a long time ago?? WHEN!! ?

Because if it WAS today, then one of two things, if we are bringing him in to play quarterback, either Moore is on the verge of being traded OR Tannehill is hurt for an extended period of time. Not even going to explore him at another position because the story all along is that he wants to play quarterback.

Past tense. Not present tense. Correct?

I'd have no issue with bringing him in as a TE/Hback/Fullback etc... role, because the guy can make plays. But as a QB. No Fkn way.

Personally I think it does nothing of the sort. Tim Tebow does not in any way make us better at QB IMHO.

I'd be livid if we signed him to play QB. Absolutely livid. The only thing signing Tebow and trading Moore would do is signal the arrival of a new regime in 2014.

I certainly didnt mean that Tebow would be the backup QB .I meant he would be the 3rd QB-H back-FB type of player.

I think its unlikely to happen....trading Moore that is ...because that would be like admitting they are giving up on the season.....and I dont think we are there.....yet.

I like Tebow more than most do, and it costs nothing to kick the tires on a Qb who has one playoff game win.

However, as a Qb he needs so much work I just can't see him fitting in here, and certainly not losing Devlin over him.

Tebow should head to the CFL and get some starts under his belt to polish his craft

For the right offer, say from Saint Louis, I'd consider it strongly, another 2nd rd pick in the arsenal wouldlook fine on Draft Day

"Explored" was a very clear word used with me. This was done on purpose. I took it to mean that they "explored" it and then decided against it.

That they explored it at all...concerns me. If it was at QB of course...

I agree, I'd lose interest in the team this season there isn't any reasoning to bring Tebow in at all. He's done in the NFL not even worth a roster spot now.

I would like to think this FO is not so inept to 'explore' Tebow at a potential QB roster spot. With Tebow's undoubted time he put in to become a better passer over the past couple of years with ZERO progress in that dept shows me enough to think he will never make it as a starting QB in this league.

Kicking the tires at HB/TE is an entirely different story given Keller's injury and the lack of progress made by our roster TEs, save Clay. He certainly has the size, but is about as far away on becoming a better route runner and pass catcher as he is becoming a better QB.

Would love to have a guy like Tebow with the dedication and hard work, but I am not so sure he (Tebow) can make much of an impact unless he is used merely for short yardage/red zone situations. I would suspect that IF he comes back into the league, he will have to play a little of everything (including STs), ala Crash Jensen.

St. Louis has only about $250,000 in cap space.

Do not really know how that plays into a trade, but I would imagine it might be noteworthy if considering a potential trade for Moore. Hear they are working out Tyler Thigpen and recently released Brady Quinn.
