We see you are actually a double agent working for other teams so we will now win games that we should win without you.
Whose Jim Turner the OL coach? There was a lot of mis-communication in the huddle. I saw Clay not knowing what the play was, and often the receivers did not know what the play call was. Aside from that, Tannehill needs to step up in the pocket and have better ball placement. Throwing behind Wallace from the 7 yard line cost us the game as much as Clabo getting bull rushed for 2-3 sacks when the game was on the line.
On the flip side - Dummervill and Suggs are not exactly scrubs. They have beaten some of the best tackles in football. As bad as Clabo, Jerry, and Martin were at times, the receivers made a lot of mistakes as well. Also, the refs f***ed us with those 2 suspect Interference calls that set the Ravens up for the easy TD. Let's take the bye, get healthy, and get back to winning ball games.
Im all for replacing Clabo... and Martin for that matter. The problem is... there's nobody to replace them with. I'd strongly consider replacing Jim Turner ASAP though. Not that the OL coach is likely that important to their performance, whatever he's doing clearly isnt working, and it can't get any worse.
Nate Garner is better than Tyson Clabo. There's no question about it. We've seen it for a long time. Watkins was better last year in Philly than John Jerry is right now.
I agree that Turner has to go and said as much in another thread. Cutting starters isn't going to do anything positive to this offense, if they think promoting Dallas Thomas or Nate Garner is the answer I got sum bad newz. Can Turner and promote Chris Mosley, it can't get any worse and best case it lights a fire under their *** the same way canning Cam Cam did for the Ravens last year.
I had a thread about this earlier in the week. Maybe it's time to start some fresh bodies in there. Watkins and Garner deserve a shot they can't be any worse than what we are already seeing.
He couldn't lead him because there was a LB in zone coverage. Wallace was so open he should have adjusted and caught the ball. I think that is one of the reasons Tannehill and Hartline are on the same page and Wallace is not. Hartline is very cerebral and would have sat down there so Tannehill could get him the ball, Wallace on the other hand just kept running. Even still Wallace got both hands on the ball and NEEDS to ****ing catch it.
You gotta wonder if they don't make some kind of move during the bye week.If they don't do something to shake things up that sends a bad message in itself.
I've said all along, if we don't string 3 loses in a row, we have a good shot at the playoffs. We're dangerously close to 8-8 if the OL is not fixed. And that's a shame because our D and our Passing game is top tier.
Clabo is just not holding up physically. How is that Turner's fault? Apparently, Atlanta knew what they were doing when they cut him. Martin isn't going anywhere. Inognito and Pouncey are the best linemen we have. If it were me, this bye week is the time to overhaul the right side. Between Watkins, Garner and Yeatman, they need to come up with some combination to replace what is there now.
This. We're a game outta first place with two weeks to hopefully get healthy. When the anger wears off we're still at or ahead of where most people thought we'd be after 5 games.
I started this thread last week. I guess he reported to Philbin's office then left "perplexed. Philbin allowed a "perplexed" lineman to start a key divisional game. Off with his head already! Sheesh I hate it when the diehard fans are better than the coaches. That's been the case way too often the past decade.
Clabo looks and sounds totally defeated...almost like he knows what ought to be coming. http://www.miamidolphins.com/multim...o_Finish/37db2da3-53ca-4338-aab5-3290736c53db
He is a dead to me, do not care how he sounds, how he feels, his confidence level, whatever. Get that mother****er off of my roster before I dig up his great grandfather to smack him for siring such a pos crap football player, Yes I am that angry, no it is not going away until he is gone.
