One thing I want to see are the new rule changes. I really want to see how the league handles the RB outside the tackles. What if the RB lowers his head, will it be called? That's just one thing, but I'm sure everybody has thier own things they want to see.
A TD from Ryan Tannehill's drive or two, solid blocking from Martin, a sack from Jordan and someone in both the receiver and cornerback groups to step up and impress
Some flashes from Davis and/or Taylor. OV and Jordan carrying their practice success over into the game. Dion Sims. Competence from Jon Martin.
Rookies, undrafted free agents, players we haven't seen in a dolphin uniform...and some Jon Martin reps.
Jordan to show he can sack against another team...Tanny to hit a few nice timing passes...Jon Martin to be able to stop another team's rusher...some of the rookie/new WR/DB to flash...and nobody gettin' hurt. That would make my day!
Right, there's so many moving parts I don't see how the first of five games is going to help us for the first regular season game, I'm good with the extra 7 days of practice we got, that effect takes prescedent over risking injury...let them play 4 games like everyone else, just with an extra week of practice.
I want to see: -Pat Devlin play well, think he has it in him, and we've carried him awhile -Marcus Thigpen handling Wr duties -Lee Robinson, heard a lot of buzz about him, want to see what it is about. -Some Db's to make some plays
- I want to see how they rotate guys on the OL, and who does well. - Draft Picks, especially Jordan, Taylor, and Thomas. - I'd like to see Tannehill get at least one drive and do well. - Jonathan Martin vs. DeMarcus Ware. - OV, Dion Jordan, and Vaughn Martin and how they rotate at RDE opposite Wake. - Which kicker gets a shot at a long FG attempt. - Probably won't be able to see it, but Jim Turner delivered some great sideline quotes on Hard Knocks last year. "I'm gonna get f***in' electrocuted!" and "Am I on drugs?!" were classic.
I read somewhere that Orton is not playing, not sure if it's true or not. Romo is 50-50 on whether he'll play.
Total Domination. Dolphins 49, Cowboys 0. 7 sacks. 4 INTs. And no injuries. Even with starters playing one series. Would like every pre-season game to end that way. Same with regular.
I want to see Devlin show that Moore will be expendable. I really like what I've seen from him in limited college tape and preseason experience. I think he has the makings of a very solid backup at least if given time to mature and learn.
I'm looking forward to seeing the unproven wideouts like Tyms get a chance to perform with the starters with all of our hurt receivers. Hopefully Martin doesn't get Tannehill killed.
I was thinking about that too. What if PD toys with the #3's and is solid against the #2's, does that mean we can shop Moore? I like Moore, think he is a solid #2, but we don't need 2 #2's
We're probably going to see three quarters of Pat Delvin, so I'm interested to see how he plays with that much time on the field, and how he does with the second and third (and fourth) string position players. This preseason will go a long way to determining if he can be Tanny's long term backup.
I wanna see Egnew play good,im excited about the wr group..Also i think Matt Moore is the best backup in the Nfl,but i really like Pat Devlin he got compared before the draft to Joe Flacco..I hope for a good game, even if i stay awake the whole night (in Germany we're 6Hours ahead so the games starts at 2 am)
Like to see a good showing from the offensive line, especially Martin. I don't need him to be flawless...just like a solid showing on his part. Also like to see our CB's play well. We have a bunch of young talent in the secondary and I'm excited to see them play. Really curious to see some battles for the back up LB spots as well as or Rb's. I can't fricken wait until game time tomorrow!!!!
I'm hoping to see a mega miracle; Will Yeatman and Jeff Adams proving themselves tremendous gamers and actually providing a legitimate challenge to Jonathan Martin at LT. I'm expecting to see nothing close to that. Anxious to see Jonas Gray run. Interested in the backup safeties as well.
Tannehill looking sharp in one-two series, with at least one long ball TD to Wallace, if he even plays. Keller if Wallace doesn't play. The OL showing they, Martin in particular, can protect Tanny and handle D Ware. DJordan, OVernon and VMartin generating some serious pressure opposite CWake. The CBs holding their own, in particular want to see Davis get an int. or PBU to prove its not a fluke what he's doing in TC. And nobody getting hurt!
Not too concerned or disappointed bout that. we wouldn't have seen them very much anyway. Next week though.....
