"HUGE thank you to the 22,876 of you who hung out @SunLifeStadium for tonight's scimmage! #ItsOurTime"" Support that young team.....defense!!!! Defense!!!!! Defense!!!! Ryan looked good, Dion looked good, defense was swarming, the U in the house, Wallace and Hart didn't play..22 g in the stands..lets go on the road and take care of some business, come home to a hopefully early arriving, loud, young enthusiastic crowd..Looking for the new breed of dolphin fan, ones that are not afraid to stand and cheer when on defense, and if you are planing on arriving late and sitting on your ***, and running at the first sign of a sprinkle, and not get back into your seats at kickoff and after half, then please just stay home. Time to change this sh&$.
Can't wait.. People say Miami belongs to the Heat.. And to some extent they do. But don't kid yourself, I'd trade 10 Heat championships for one Dolphins one. I love the Heat and have been a a lifelong fan but the Dolphins will always be my favorite team no matter what. I'm not making predictions but I think we finally turn it around this year.
Couldn't agree more. The Heat are just filler till the Dolphins return to form for me and a lot of people I know as well. Glad a good bunch of fans turned out tonight.
It was a great crowd, we had some fun! And my wife scored a cheap Dolphins helmet aqua/orange necklace. Funy thing was she didn't catch it, the guy throwing them was standing right next to her seat and dropped one, Jacqui just scooped that baby right up!
Check it out...Pat fans draw 20,000 at their scrimmage at Gillette stadium. Dats what I'm talking bout
Why doesn't someone report this.. If I worked for the dolphins pR and marketing, this would be everywhere right now..
Yet Espn shows footage of pat fans running to their seats, and bruschi crying on set with craft.. Lets go dolphin front office, local beat reporters, do us a favor and report how cool it is that there were 23 gs in the house for a practice.
I'm not sure but i think their scrimmage was only for season ticket holders, while the Dolphins scrimmage was open for everybody
Well I'd rather watch grass grow than watch basketball, but I was 13 years old the last time we won a championship and I'm over 50 now. That's too long. 1st step, win that division !
I'd love for the Dolphins to win a Super Bowl, but I wouldn't trade the last 3 years of Heat basketball for anything. The 3 best sports years of my life by far.
Dolphins haven't done well in a long time and yet they still pulled 22k for a practice. This town still loves the Phins.
I agree with that, but last year we drew only 7,000. But that was for a number of reasons, some of which have been corrected.
Were you around when Marino was slinging the ball like a maniac? I guess it's somewhat generational, I was a kid who grew up idolizing Marino and the Dolphins.. Now don't get me wrong, the Heat have always been a passion, but watching #13 throw the ball from 85 on was enthralling. Plus, there is something about football that evokes deep seated emotion and passion, that at least for me, is impossible with any other sport.
and WE DONT HAVE the hardest working dolphins of all time in Crowder and McMichael to share their infinite wisdom to light our way . gotta say I am pumped up .
I'm a Dolphins fan first and foremost, so I would quickly trade in those Heat championships... (Actually, as a Celtics fan I would trade those Heat championships in for 30 seconds in a tank with 10,000 angry bees)
I think it would be a safe bet that there have been plenty of Dolphins players who were as hard working or more so than Crowder and McMichael.
I sure was. Season ticket holder for most of my life. But these last 3 yrs of Heat basketball has been unlike anything I've ever experienced. The "us against the world" everybody hating you part made it so much fun
