I don´t know if some of you have tested this, but it´s fun, takes 2 min to register and then you are ready to do a whole draft....your way :shifty:

Wow, really enjoyed that haha. Gonna give it another go, wanted a DT and wish I'd have taken Eifert when he was available, but completely forgot! Milliner and Johnson were both available at 12 so I traded down and picked up a 2nd, and a similar thing happened in round 2 where there was a few guys who I rated equally so traded down again. Towards the end of the draft I felt like I'd drafted a full roster because I had so many picks.
    Here's what I did anyway:
    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 14 (CAR): Lane Johnson, OT, Oklahoma (A)
Round 2 Pick 10: Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State (C+)
Round 2 Pick 12 (CAR): Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International (A)
Round 2 Pick 28 (ATL): Blidi Wreh-Wilson, CB, Connecticut (B+)
Round 3 Pick 15: Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati (C)
Round 3 Pick 20: Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia (D+)
Round 3 Pick 30 (ATL): Brian Schwenke, C, California (B+)
Round 4 Pick 14: Josh Johnson, CB, Purdue (A)
Round 4 Pick 30 (ATL): David Quessenberry, OT, San Jose State (B)
    Round 5 Pick 13: D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston (A-)
Round 5 Pick 30 (ATL): William Gholston, DE, Michigan State (A-)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): EJ Manuel, QB, Florida State (A)
Round 7 Pick 11: Rontez Miles, FS, California (PA) (A)
Round 7 Pick 18: Knile Davis, RB, Arkansas (C+)
Round 7 Pick 44 (COMP): Joseph Fauria, TE, UCLA (A)

yeah hayden is in free fall in that draft, my first 3 picks where austin, eifert and carradine, that would be unreal, unfortunately i was so pumped about this outcome that i closed firefox by accident, since then never ever made it eifert into the 2nd round again

I figured I would give it a try, knowing I don't have a clue, except what I have learned on here. (I'm saying that before someone else has to).
I liked how it started, but I got carried away with the trades. I went in wanting Armstead and then forgot about him when I should have taken him. I probably should have taken him instead of Swope at that spot and then tried to get Swope next.
I only received 2 really bad grades from them which surprised me. You sure could build some depth with this, if you knew what you were doing, of course.

Round 1 Pick 13 (T.B.): Tavon Austin, WR, West Virginia (A)
Round 2 Pick 11 (T.B.): Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State (C-)
Round 2 Pick 22: Jonathan Cyprien, SS, Florida International (A)
Round 2 Pick 26 (DEN): Ryan Swope, WR, Texas A&M (D+)
    Round 3 Pick 15: B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary (A-)
Round 3 Pick 20: Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati (C)
Round 3 Pick 24 (IND): Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas (C)
Round 3 Pick 28 (DEN): Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina (C-)
Round 4 Pick 14: Sanders Commings, CB, Georgia (A)
Round 4 Pick 21 (CINN): Chase Thomas, OLB, Stanford (C)
Round 4 Pick 24 (IND): Kwame Geathers, DT, Georgia (B+)
Round 5 Pick 13: Ray Graham, RB, Pittsburgh (D)
Round 5 Pick 23 (CINN): Aldrick Fordham, DE, South Carolina (F)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Bradley McDougald, FS, Kansas (A-)
    Round 7 Pick 11: Caleb Sturgis, K, Florida (A)
Round 7 Pick 18: Abry Jones, DT, Georgia (A)
Round 7 Pick 44 (COMP): Ray Ray Armstrong, SS, Miami (Fla.) (B-)

I have tried this 3 or 4 times and what is available, even at 12, has been different every time, well mostly. The first time I got Austin at 12, the second time he went to SD. and the next time he went to Cleve. Totally unreal but it passes the time.

    Looks fun! gonna try it.

Scoring seems silly, since they could be totally wrong on players... essentially it's just their own opinions on which players are good.

Meant to say - thanks a ton for the link. That was really fun.

Agree with Bpk, scoring is meaningless. It is a lot of fun.

There were a couple of players I wanted and missed. But, if Miami actually landed the players above (nothing great about me as a selector; those guys were there and have potential) but I think, generally speaking, people would be elated.

An electric WR. A DE who could be a day 1 starter if he fully recovers (will eventually be that). That alone (Austin / Carradine) would make me very happy. A ILB that could start (and will eventually, imo); two young, competitive CBs. Two TE's - one a down the field type to take over after Keller is gone; the other a great red zone target and a mammoth player; Two OT's and an OG who can bring competition and one or two of whom will stick (one has a chance to start at RT at least). A talented safety. And, two RB's who will bring a lot of speed and competition for the backup role.

The trade downs often offer great value in this - especially if there are still 2-3 players.

    Your Picks:
Round 1 Pick 23 (MINN): Tyler Eifert, TE, Notre Dame (A)
Round 1 Pick 27 (HOU): Cornellius Carradine, DE, Florida State (A)
Round 2 Pick 10: Johnthan Banks, CB, Mississippi State (B+)
Round 2 Pick 23 (G.B.): Menelik Watson, OT, Florida State (B)
Round 3 Pick 15: Corey Lemonier, DE, Auburn (B)
Round 3 Pick 18 (DAL): Stedman Bailey, WR, West Virginia (A)
Round 4 Pick 4 (PHI): Christine Michael, RB, Texas A&M (A)
Round 4 Pick 14: Sylvester Williams, DT, North Carolina (A)
Round 4 Pick 17 (DAL): Brian Schwenke, C, California (A)
Round 4 Pick 30 (ATL): D.J. Swearinger, FS, South Carolina (A)
Round 5 Pick 3 (PHI): Mike Glennon, QB, North Carolina State (A)
    Round 5 Pick 13: D.J. Hayden, CB, Houston (A-)
Round 5 Pick 33 (COMP): Earl Watford, OG, James Madison (B)
Round 7 Pick 4 (PHI): Joe Kruger, DE, Utah (C)
Round 7 Pick 6 (PHI): Caleb Sturgis, K, Florida (A)
Round 7 Pick 11: Gerald Hodges, OLB, Penn State (A)
Round 7 Pick 18: Joseph Fauria, TE, UCLA (A)
Round 7 Pick 44 (COMP): Matt Summers-Gavin, OT, California (C)

UDFAs: TE Phil Lutzenkirchen, RB Dennis Johnson, CB Rod Sweeting, CB Corey Broomfield
    OLB Michael Mauti

I would be very happy with that draft. It's amazing how you can miss out on players you want... like I wanted Tavon Austin, but missed out. I almost got Manti Teo in the 4th round but he went TWO picks before me. Just missed out on Gavin Escobar in the 5th round, I think.

Still, I am thrilled with this haul. ESPECIALLY because it sets the foundation for a good 2014 too.

Eifert plays as the #2 TE immediately, and replaces Keller next year.
Tank rotates in with Odrick, and replaces Odrick next year when Starks leaves and Odrick moves inside.
Banks starts day one for us, imo, as our #3 CB.
Menelik competes for the LT spot, but probably plays RT for us (hopefully behind Eric Winston). Big upside.
Lemonier is a FAR better version of Olivier Vernon (so explosive when rushing) on 3rd downs.
Stedman Bailey is tailor-made for this offense. Can play all WR spots and produces TDs and YAC.
Christine Michael complements Miller, plus re-uinties with Sherman. Knows the offense.
Sylvester Williams was too good a value to pass up in round four and replaces Soliai after this year.
Schwenke is a backup at C and OG, and could start at OG if he develops (maybe replacing Incognito 2014)
Swearinger gives us another Reshad Jones, with some flexibility in dime. Could replace Clemons in 2014.
Glennon is a high-upside developmental QB to compete with Devlin.
Hayden gives us another good CB to compete at #2 and #3 CB. Between he and Banks, one of Patterson or Marshall can be let go, imo, saving us money we can use to sign Winston.
Watford is a good zone blocking guard.
Kruger has the frame Coyle likes at DE. Good depth with upside.
    Sturgis pushes Carpenter at Placekicker.
Gerald Hodges is great value as a coverage linebacker and special teams guy. Fits our new-look LB corps.
Joseph Fauria has amazing upside, getting to learn behind Keller and Eifert. Replaces Egnew.
Summers-Gavin is perfect for zone. Chance to help inside and be a backup outside. Giving Turner pieces.
UDFAS: Lutzenkirchen is our blocking TE if he makes the roster, Broomfield and Sweeting are good zone CBs who compete for the #5 and #6 CB spots with Wilson et al, Michael Mauti is a solid LB with an injury past who could be good depth off the bench like a Trusnik (but hopefully better).

Tank Carradine, Shamarko, Schwenke, Alford, Escobar, Winters, Hayden, Fauria all getting some love.

I missed out on Escobar both times I drafted because Eifert and other TEs came to me first.

Oh hell ya.. the troika of Tank-Cyprien-Banks is a defensive makeover right there! I missed out on Banks by a couple picks in my second draft. Otherwise it would have been great. Still, I got 32 players. lots of gems for the coaching staff to sift through at mini-camp. lol.

I WANTED Zac Stacy and he went a few picks ahead of where I selected too. They stole Christine Michael from me in the same draft. Weak RB draft for me in the 2nd attempt.

I may try this one more time, but trade UP aggressively as often as possible. It hardly seems worth doing though, since amazing talent is falling.

Not bad! Explosive players with first few picks (figures you must have used that 1st fro next year to get Ansah... but I can;t believe you had the balls to trade down with Dallas instead of taking Tavon at 12... I will never listen to you again when you critique Jeff Ireland for not aggressively going after players like Tavon. LOL. If Tavin were there at 12 and Ireland traded down you'd go ape****. :) )

Yeah. I love most of these drafts in this thread.

If this happened (just that 1st round alone) - I think this site would blow up. But if that whole draft happened. Insanity. I'd predict SB in 2-3 years and put money on it. lol.

Damn it, these trades don't make sense. Offered my whole second round for St. Louis' 23 and they turned me down and took Detroit's offer of.. wait.. for it.. one 3rd round pick.
