What do you guys think of the game? The 49ers seem to be struggling I have a feeling this may be a close defensive game but the 49ers win in the 4th quarter 17 -14. Saw this online just for laughs
Considering how much inexperience at the QB position for both teams, I think its hard to say what will end up happening. The 49ers are the better team, but if they turn the ball over Miami can win.
I think if there's any cure for a struggling Niners team, then it's quite likely that playing the Dolphins next is going to be it! Not that I think the Niners are struggling yet, they just lost against a Rams team that seem to have them worked out. Hopefully we borrow from the Rams gameplan in preparing for them.
Today they commited to Kapernick for this week, so you never know. As long as the other team scores less than 20, we could be in it.
Blech. We need them to score under 20. That's gross. Blechhhh. We have to be able to do better than that. Yuck. Bleech. lol
According to Dansby if they lost the patriot game they know their season is over, we'll see how it affects their play as a team..
QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, DB...I don't see a single unit where the 49ers are not superior in talent to the Dolphins. Except I think Miami has the edge in all-round ST. Throw in Miami is the team traveling 3,000 miles and this could be one ugly ****ing game. Just thinking that Long won't be playing and the 49ers have some guy named Aldon Smith who is kinda good makes me wince when thinking about the probabilities.
Genuinely concerned about Tannehill's saftey in this game. Aldon Smith, Justin Smith, Bowman, Willis?? This kid is in danger out west this week.
I expect their defense to destroy our offensive line. The coaches don't seem to trust the line against poor defenses. So I would expect a ton of 3 step drops when they decide to throw the ball, which I think will be less than usual so as to protect Tannehill. Since our running game blows, I expect a lot of long 2nd and 3rd downs. Thus I expect a lot of short drives and a few INTs since the 9ers will know what's coming. I think the defense will do what it always does, which is put forth a valiant effort. But our lack of a pass rush, depth, and too many short possessions by the offense will ultimately cause it to break. And if that doesn't happen, it could get ugly and we could get embarrassed.
I'd say Vernon Davis should destroy us but he's so under-used by Harbaugh it's criminal. Kapernick will probably have a few nice runs on us but I think we can handle their offense. Their defense is most likely going to **** us up. I can see Reggie Bush having the worst day of his life.
I just read that the opening line on the game is 49ers by 10.5 points. The other 10.5 favorites on the day are the Broncos over the Raiders and the Seahawks over the Cardinals. Ouch. It's kind of what I figured though. Pricing in a bounceback for the 49ers after taking an unexpected loss to the Rams, and also pricing in a cross-country trip for the Dolphins.
I said the Super Bowl AAAAANNNNNDDDDDD the game where Rice abused Brown. He set some record that game.
heh... you know Harbaugh will be extra motivated to kick our *** after he spurned Ross... because that's the way life is.
I think it's our second game this year against a coach who rejected Ross and Miami. For that reason alone I hope Philbin out coaches him.
I find it sadistic and somewhat morbid that Martin's first assignment as LT is to go against Aldon Smith..... ouch....
49ers only allowing 14 PPG, tops in the NFL. Our offense couldn't overcome the Patriots D at home, I'm not too sure this will be the best game to watch our offense going to the west to face the toughest D in the NFL.
Because the Dolphins offered him a job with a raise. Imagine a competing company coming up to you and offering you a new job with a raise. Wouldn't you want to get back at them?
