Ok lets have fun with this guys. Make some predictions about the Dolphins this year. Give a realistic and not so real prediction. Get crazy with it. Here is mine: Tannehill starts and passes for 3,500 yds and 28 tds Tannehill starts in week 8 and passes for 4,200 yds and 42 tds Have fun guys!!!
The concensus on Sirus NFL and ESPN radio the last few days is 4 wins this year. One theory is the only reason they let go of CJ is because they are going to go forward with RT for the season.
Knee jerk ESPN ftw. Anyway RT goes 6-4 as a starter after coming in due to injury to the starter. Or he starts the season right away and goes 11 and 5. Dolphins make the playoffs and smoke the crippled Ravens in the first round. Then lose on the road before a raucus San Diego crowd. One is realistic.
I dunno if it's knee-jerk. 4-6 wins seems realistic to me. We don't have anyone at WR who would be even a number two WR on most teams and our defensive backfield STILL sucks.
Ryan Tannehill shows a lot of promise going 7-9 as a starter Miami reacquires Brandon Marshall after he punches Cutler in the throat during a game, at the price of a 7th rounder. Ireland wins again.
Reggie Bush leads NFL in all purpose yards making him a PPR Fantasy Football steal in the 4th/5th round. Ryan Tannehill brings a exciting offense back to Miami, but a struggling Defense keeps the Dolphins at a sub .500 record.
Matt Moore has an MVP season, leading the Dolphins to a 12-4 record and first round bye. He signs a 7 year contract and Tannehill is subsequently traded. Miami finishes 7-9 and fans start calling for the firing of Philbin.
Ryan Tannehill takes us to 11-5 and to the AFC Championship game. Ryan Tannehill becomes first rookie QB in history to get to Superbowl. (am I being too conservative w/ my AFC Champ game prediction?)
Why did you make 2 unrealistic predictions? Miami Dolphins go 14-2 and win the Super Bowl. Miami Dolphins go 6-10, but win their final 3 games and appear headed in the right direction.
You know minus the part about us getting him back I just realized the BM part isn't too impossible. I mean half the time in Denver they hated eachother on the field. BM is crazy....5% chance it happens.
Jeff Ireland even said so on hardknocks. We have 4's, 5's, and 6's and we need 1's, 2,s and 3's. He is hopping some of our young guys will step up.
Realistic: They have at least 30 transactions involving the bottom of the roster Unrealistic: If Rishard Mathews makes the team, Bob Griese will never call him Ryan Matthews
