How's everyone doing so far? What's been your best "value pick"?

I finished with a +142 on value, mostly due to teams overdrafting Wolfe and Thompson. My only real miss was drafting Norman about a round too early.

    David DeCastro: GML 25 / Actual 24 (+1)
    Demario Davis: GML 68 / Actual 77 (-9)
    Nick Foles: GML 101 / Actual 88 (+13)
    Josh Norman: GML 119 / Actual 143 (-24)
    Derek Wolfe: GML 135 / Actual 36 (+99)
    Christian Thompson: GML 196 / Actual 130 (+66)
    Tom Compton: GML 199 / Actual 193 (+6)

Overall I'm happy how the draft went. -17 on Adams, but our draft was prior to the positive test info. I had one pick I regretted in the draft, and I regretted it about 10 seconds after. Still like my guy though.

    2.44 - Dont'a Hightower, LB, Alabama (#25) -19
    2.48 - Harrison Smith, SS, Notre Dame (#29) -19
    2.63 - Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson (#93) +30
    3.66 - Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse (#21) -45
    3.80 - Ben Jones, C, Georgia (#99) +19
    3.96 - Chris Rainey, RB, Florida (#159) +63
4.125 - Ronnie Hillman, RB, San Diego State (#67) -58
4.128 - Ryan Lindley, QB, San Diego State (#185) +57
    5.131 - Matt McCants, OT, Alabama-Birmingham (#201) +70
    6.179 - Tank Carder, LB, Texas Christian (#147) -32
    6.191 - Nicolas Jean-Baptiste, DT, Baylor (UDFA #254) +63
    7.193 - Terrance Ganaway, RB, Baylor (#202) +9
    7.202 - Matt Conrath, DT, Virginia (UDFA #254) +52
    7.216 - Junior Hemingway, WR, Michigan (#238) +22

Well my draft total was +212 or +15 average because I had a couple of UDFA, but both were taken late enough that it didn't really matter and having one of the bigger drafts it was expected. a few of my picks were picked within a round or two after where I drafted so that didn't really help, but I did manage to draft 3 first rounders without using a first rounder.

I may be in the negative, not sure, but I've been in the ballpark with all 3 so far.

    Edit:

    Name - GML/Real
    1. Michael Floyd - 8/13 (-5)
    2. Jerel Worthy - 40/51 (-11)
    3. Dwight Bentley - 105/85 (+20)

    Edit 2:

Good thing UDFAs don't count or I'd have killed it. Burris helped my grade a ton, though Smith and Dunsmore might not get drafted.

Jaguars only had three picks (aside from comp pick that we didn't know about and didn't pick ourselves, sorry again) and made them all count, logging a total +100 in terms of value. All of our players were taken in real draft ahead of where we selected and we finished with a +33.3 average per pick.

3.94 - Brandon Brooks, OG, Miami (Ohio) - 76th in real draft
4.97 - Ryan Broyles, WR, Oklahoma - 54th in real draft
4.121 -Mike Martin, DT, Michigan -82nd in real draft

    1.5- LB, Luke Kuechly, Boston College - 9 (-4)
    1.23- DE/LB, Melvin Ingram, South Carolina - 18 (+5)
    2.36- CB, Jenoris Jenkins, North Alabama - 39 (-3)
    3.81- S, George Iloka, Boise State - 167 (-86)
    4.107- WR, Joe Adams, Arkansas - 104 (+3)
5.148- DT, DaJohn Harris, USC - (UD)
6.164- TE, Chase Ford, Miami - (UD)
7.197- QB, Darron Thomas, Oregon - (UD)

Mine was kind of a mixed bag. My top picks were fairly close although I think I stole Ingram because I think he should have gone even higher in the real draft. I whiffed on the last 3, but in those rounds you're going for upside anyway and they'll make rosters I think.

My real steals came in the UDFA market though. I got Olivier Vernon who obviously went in the 3rd round (72), and I got kicker Randy Bullock who went in the 5th round (161).

you can always get 14+ draft picks like me and play the odds

I think there was some pretty bad flubs but you don't expect that when you're drafting as early as we do, I mean so much can happen in a month leading up to the draft.

JMPhin took Zebrie Sanders at #28, and then he didn't get taken til the 5th
Mach took Chris Polk in the third and he went undrafted
Boik took Alfonzo Dennard in the second and he didn't go til round seven, and we didn't even expect him to get arrested three days before the draft.

I think everyone had some kind of drop.

after drafting Cam Johnson and Deangelo Peterson in the third round, I feel it's best for me to recuse myself from any future drafts. Since both players went undrafted and all. Therefore any future teams I'm employed by will no longer be making draft selections... all of those picks will be traded away for established players.

    Player (GML/Actual) Difference

    Ryan Tannehill (14 / 8) +6
    Lamar Miller (45 / 97) -52
    Brian Quick (83 / 33) +50
    Leonard Johnson (114 / UDFA)
    Rishard Matthews (176 / 227) -51
    Josh LeRibeus (193 / 71) +122

Well, I certainly was all over the place. A couple of reaches with Lamar Miller, Johnson, and Rishard Matthews. But some big time steals with Brian Quick and Johsn LeRibeus.

    lmao.

    1.21- Alshon Jeffery (-24)
    1.24- Nick Perry (-4)
    2.55- Chase Minnifield (-198) - UDFA
    2.58- Markelle Martin (-132)
    3.85- Ryan Steed (-168) - UDFA
    5.145- Tauren Poole (-108) - UDFA
    5.150- Najee Goode (+10)
    7.194- Levy Adcock (-59) - UDFA
    7.212- Joe Long (-41) - UDFA
    7.214- Kyle Wilber (+111)
    7.comp- Chris Galippo - UDFA

to be fair to myself, Minnifield and Martin were both 2nd round prospects at the time I drafted them lol. Minnifield started slipping A LOT around that time because of his size at the combine and his pro day numbers and his injury questions. I still think he has ridiculous coverage skills and ridiculous ball skills.
