I dont usually post for prayers, or reach out, but alot of the people on this site are like family to me and today I am literally scared of death, I am faced with a moment of mortality tomorrow and right now I am not coping well. I have to have surgury tomorrow and while it is a minor one, (I am getting my gallbladder removed) the risks are still there. So please put me and my family in your prayers.
Nothing to worry about E. You are bullet proof. You know how I know that? Because if a guy with gun was trying to take your kids, I know for a fact he could empty the clip and you'd keep coming after him...right? Of course that's right. Now how in the hell can a tiny little ***** *** scalpel stop you from seeing them again? It can't. You got this.
Your golden bro. You will be up and at'em in no time flat. We'll talk via text soon or "draw something" lol
You have my prayers as well. As a pastor for 28 years, I have seen hundreds of these, all with good results. Yet the fear is always there. I will lift you and yours (and the surgical team) up to God.
Natalie, Erics girlfriend just called and left me a message to say Eric is fine, in recovery, and will be up and going soon. But everything went well! First thing he wanted to do was let me know he was ok, and ask that I pass it on! Glad my buddy pulled it out like we all knew!
Sick, I had open heart surgery to replace a valve. They sawed through my sternum, opened my ribcage, connected me to a pump and respirator, stopped my heart, cut it open, cut out the valve, sewed in a titanium one, sewed the heart together, did five bypasses while they were at it, restarted it, disconnected the pump, wired my sternum back together with platinum wire, and two weeks later I was walking around my neighborhood. That's what they can do today. You have my prayers, but keep in mind that the Lord works indirectly, through His doctors and nurses. You will be fine.
Thats amazing, but you might have me confused with Big E. E was the one who had surgery, hes out and fine now! The only thing wrong with me is I am a bit hung over today, but that's not operable
No, I'm calling your momma...all I got to do is role over and wake her up. Oh and glad you're better E.
maybe the surgeons should get some thanks too. but to keep it on track, glad to hear your okay BigE. My father-in-law struggled for about a year after that surgery, but it had much more to do with his age (60+) being a factor.
