IIRC, Dansby has played both inside and outside in a 4-3 defense at one point ?? Could they be looking to move those guys around ?? I don't know...it's just a guess. I think Misi will do fine inside and one thing that Coyle has done in the past is put his guys in good positions to make plays...The question is would this mean something to Dansby and Burnett ??

Omar has had an infatuation with Misi inside for a while now. I have a feeling the conversation went like this:

I think most likely he's going to end up sticking as a SOLB in either a 4-3 or 3-4. Given what teams have been doing with guys in that build/skillset, I think it's a good chance he'd be quite good as a 4-3 SOLB. If they're going to play multiple fronts he's the most logical bet as a flex guy. The "inside" stuff is probably Kelly editorializing because well he's Omar Kelly and he has rather grand ideas about himself and his understanding of football.

In a 3-4, ya. But in a 43, put him at the Sam...

I think this is spot on.

I think Coyle also already said he thought Dansby would play the Mike during his interview with the Finsiders a few weeks back.

    Well away from here
Wasn't it Kelly who once thought a 3 technique meant the player had to control 3 gaps along the defensive front? If it was, well the rest is up to you.............

It's now being reported on NFLN, on the bottom ticker, the Misi will play ILB for the 2012 season.

That's almost certainly this story being re-reported. It's not even a given we have an ILB position in 2012 from what we know.

I don't see Misi as an impact middle LB. He is very ordinary and the sooner they upgrade the Linebacker position and get rid of Misi as a starter on the defense, the better.
