    Ireland = Cancer.

It is not Brandon Marshall as many here would love to believe.

Maybe it's Rex Ryan's mouth. Seriously though I get why people are upset with Ireland, but I don't get the pure disdain and hate.

Basically it's a pacifier. It's the anti-homefield advantage the dolphins need.

I don't think this is hate, just disgust at not doing what needs to be done.

Last year, owner mismanagement cost us Jim Harbaugh, who took over a worse team and went a ridiculous 13-3.

Now we lost the "top" coaching free agent, and who knows what else, for Ireland...and ultimately, owner mismanagement.

And for what, no one was willing to give Cam Wake a contract as big as us, thats why he came here. For every Cam Wake transaction, there's 2 Pat White/Phil Merlings. Ireland has been mediocre. Not horrible, not good, and he's costing us in the much bigger picture.

When Jeff Ireland is fired, will you pretend you never really liked him that much anyway? Just like the Sparano / Henne apologists did?

SS has been abysmal In games. All he has accomplished is getting some above avg tweets from hack journalists in camp. He is still drawing flags and avoiding tackles where it matters. In games.

Agree 100% SS and Davis aren't in the same league. Then throw in the run support Davis brings.

Ireland and Parcells are almost on the same level as Saban to me.

I'd say Parcells was just a dinosaur who was trying to build a team that would have been great in 1985. I think history will remember Jeff Ireland's stint as Dolphins GM as nearly as bad as Matt Millen's with the Lions if this season goes as bad as I think it might.

Because we paid a first for him, don't have particularly great DB depth, his contract is dirt cheap, and he's only 24.

You guys complain because of the state of the team and Ireland is making changes to try to improve our rooster and now your complaining because he is making changes.

    Really??

Does anyone believe Brandon Marshall was going to single handedly lead us to a superbowl?

Does anyone believe Vontae Davis was going to get there? Obviously Philbin didn't.

Does anyone believe 85 was going to really contribute?

We fielded the best 53 we could. We will continue to try and improve the "coachable" talent on this roster. There will also be guys leaving. I think Dansbury is on his way out. His salary and cap number are way to high. We got to get our s h i t together to be successful. It starts with the cap, "coachable" talent, and acquiring future picks.

U ask if Chad Johnson, VD or BM would have been able to contribute. If not, why did the brilliant GM u defend sign or draft them in the first place? I'll wait.

Took a risk that didn't pay off. Thankfully he was able to salvage some value. Majority of GMs would double down on those moves.
