I feel like this is bad timing as we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11, IMO.

I mean, I get what they're saying, just think it's bad timing.

I called out the Jet fan who posted it and she was like, "it has nothing to do with it so who cares"

so i called her fat and neither does that, so who cares.

It would take a super bowl win and about 20 years for them to take over NY

Too many hard core older Giant fans, and even Jet fans are getting sick of the Sanchez in magazines and Ryans mouth.

Unless Rex can give them a championship in the next two years the New Yawk media will no longer find him so funny and loveable.

Giants have a waiting list for season tickets and are without a doubt the more popular team. You don't combat 40 years of their more successful history with 2.

Oh don't worry. Fatass Rex already is tying himself and the team to 9/11

Jets coach feels responsible to win Sept. 11 opener

Please. Until your sorry *** team actually wins something, the Giants own NY....and if they fail again this year, Rex can slam his headset into the turf and never be taken seriously again.

Just because the Jets get more press in the national media doesn't mean they've taken over the city. The difference is the Giants actually win superbowls and have multiple rings.
    Jets fans are so stupid.

Rex taking some heat for that. Harmless joke or really bad timing in a time when opposing fans have nearly been beaten to death like the Giants fan in the coma? (A Wales fan actually died from a beating by an England fan over in the UK this week)

He backtracked and said he wasn't advocating violence against Cowboys fans. That's obvious, but he just can't keep his mouth closed.

In football a coach will use just about anything to motivate their team.New York was without a doubt impacted by the attacks on 911.However this attack was not just on NY ,it was an attack on our country and everything American.I feel to try to use what happened that day to motivate a team to play is in a sence disrespectful to the victims and families.Honor those who were lost that day but don't use for motivation for a football game.

Back in 08 i believe there was a story that said New York is now Mets city because Mets were doing good and the yankees were struggling... That did not last long at all. New York is and will always be Yankees/Giants/Rangers/Knicks city.

Uncalled for. The REAL New Yorkers realize that the Jets are a poor excuse of everything this great city stands for.
