"the new Dolphins front office "really liked" Quentin Moses in last year's draft, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
The former Dallas execs may have written off taking Moses after snapping up Anthony Spencer in round one. Assuming the 'Fins don't use the No. 1 pick on Chris Long, Moses could challenge Charlie Anderson to be their No. 3 OLB."

Is moses ,along with some of our other the DE/LBS, the reason we are not talking to Chris Long yet? Does our front office think we have more talent than people are saying we do?

I doubt them liking Moses means anything long term. Jason Taylor and Joey Porter are short term. In Parcells defense, it's worth having 3 starting quality OLBs.

    10. Outside linebacker - While anyone who knows Parcells will tell you he's on a never-ending quest to find the next Lawrence Taylor, this really isn't a pressing need for the Dolphins. Joey Porter and Jason Taylor, if he's not traded, will be the starters for at least the 2008 season, and might be around for 2009 too. They signed Charlie Anderson to a fairly lucrative contract to be the utility guy, spelling each. I'm told that the Trifecta really liked Quentin Moses in last years draft and would have taken him if Oakland hadn't. And Abraham Wright, a converted college defensive end, supposedly has all the intangibles they look for in the hybrid DE/LB's that make their 3-4 scheme work. Then there's Junior Glymph, a former Cowboy they have history with. I'm positive one of those converted college defensive ends will be added, but how high of a draft pick will they use for it.
