    Here is the press release:

Football University (FBU) is proud to announce that this weekend, Sports Stars of Tomorrow (SSOT), a nationally syndicated television show hosted by legendary NFL announcer Pat Summerall, will dedicate an entire show to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl (USAAB) and the Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl. Sports Stars of Tomorrow, a half-hour show, will portray the exciting All-American Bowl week experience for all of our Youth Bowl and Combine athletes with a primary focus on the game action of the 8th grade unlimited game.

Sports Stars of Tomorrow, the nation's only weekly half-hour high school/collegiate show in syndication, is available in approximately 90% of the nation's television markets on local local ABC, NBC, Fox and CBS affiliates, including New York City (WABC-TV), Los Angeles (KCBS-TV), Chicago (WFLD), and Dallas-Fort Worth (KTXA). Like FBU/All American Games, SSOT searches the country for rising talent and provides fans across the country with a preview of the brightest young stars in sports. FBU/All-American Games and SSOT share a lengthy alumni list, including Tim Tebow (USAAB), Matt Barkley (FBU), Terrelle Pryor (USAAAB, FBU), Jake Heaps (USAAB, FBU), James Wilder, Jr. (USAAB), and Wayne Lyons (USAAB)

The Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl invites the nation's top 7th and 8th grade athletes to San Antonio to play in the only national youth all-star game in the country. The selected athletes come from all leagues across the country. Modeled after its sister property, the U.S. Army All-American Bowl which features the nation's top preps, the Eastbay Youth Bowl provides a glimpse of the youngest generation of football stars. The majority of the selected 7th and 8th grade athletes are discovered at Football University, an elite invitation only camp, that identifies and trains the nation's top youth and prep athletes with the top instructors from the NFL ranks. The camps run from January to July in 40 cities.

You have to see these athletes live to believe their amazing size, ability and overall talent. This weekend the entire country has that chance by tuning into SSOT this Saturday and Sunday. Hope you enjoy the show.

Just the thought that he might have an opportunity to play with the Buckeyes or at USC brings tears to my eyes. I really do get emotional about it because after helping place other kids for 26 years, then having my oldest decide he didn't want to play, to now seeing all this happen for him is just overwhelming.

It's far beyond a dream come true if he stays on track. BTW I emailed some of the Buckeye staff the article, and of course they can't reply to me but I'm hoping they remember him when I fly him out for their lineman camp in the spring or summer. For a long time it was only about Hawaii with him, and he didn't talk about anywhere else, but I think he is actually starting to see what he might be capable of now and is expanding his possiblites. Ohio State would be unreal.

BTW - The HS has already assignd him #77, the number of his favorite NFL player!

I'm going Nuts Con. Always hoped, but never knew for sure we'd get to this point. I'm 5'9 and 225. Mom is 5'9 150 and she "gots some splaining to do" about how it is this kid is potentially 6'5 300dy... lol. Seriously though He's always been big and always stood out, but I didn't know if my genes would hold him back or not. Lucky he takes after my Mom's dad (6'3 260). In fact, he physically looks just like that same grandpa.

    UPDATE:

Thought I'd post a short Highlight from last weeks game. Play #1 is my favorite, as Codi pulls from left to Right and then gets a pancake on the Safety about 25 yards upfield. Not bad movement for a kid 6'3 270.
