Deals have not yet been completed fully (other GM still has to confirm) so please refrain from comments on my deals until then. EDIT: Except the McKillop - Alexander deal.
I'm not going to comment on any trades this year unless both parties to the trade want me to, even then I probably won't. I just don't see the point anymore since the goal is to win by vote. In the past this thread has been great... good times... but I've seen people upset by things said as well (by myself and others). So, I'm not going to say anything.
Personally, I have never held anything anyone has said against them when it comes to voting. That sort of thing just seems childish. So anyone has full permission to mock and/or praise any of my moves either privately or publicly.
Exactly, criticism and praise is part of the game. I like everyone here but we rate you on your work.
I have to admire Gish's dogged determination to go balls out to find a QB. Trading VY for a 5th means he's playing without a net now.
Technically Peyton shouldnt even be listed on your roster. You cant sign a franchised player until 24/48 hours into free agency, should no one else bid on him. The Titans have every intention of taking his salary off your hands. You dont need a workaholic like him anyway. I hear Cutler could be available for the right price.
red and yellow, red and yellow, red and yellow, red and yellow, red and yellow, red and yellow.......
Well, i wasn't going to say anything but....maybe we should have instituted the trade committee overruling thingymejigger...
who would have thought my first trade of the new year would be with Alen... I don't think we made one trade last year Alen... and I think I made around 20 of them... probably going to be quieter this year though.
This is the first trade we've ever made. We didn't make one when I was co-GM with VO either. I'm satisfied with this one though.
it's funny, i can remember discussing Sanders with GIK last year when I was GM of the Dolphins and the need we have/had at safety then. I like me some Patrick Chung though.
I like Chung too, as long as he's not in man coverage. Regarding Sanders, he fits what I look for and what he'll be asked to do.
I'm not real sure who got the better deal. I think GISH needs a real quarterback though to throw to the likes of Britt and Welker... Makes me curious how much the Colts will pay for Manning.
