ESPN takes us 6-4. Schefter, Schlereth, Accuscore, and the fan poll takes the Packers. Peter King takes the Packers: CBS picks us 3-2. Prisco and Judge take the Packers. SportingNews takes the Packers: FanHouse takes the Packers. CHFF takes the Packers: Interesting that the national media generally thinks a concussed Rodgers leading a banged-up Packers team can still beat us.
LMFAO!!!! I love how he says that all coy like he's making some astute observation. Like "I've studied the tapes closely, and Miami isn't as good on Special Teams as you might think. That could factor into this game..."
Why shouldn't they ? Who have we beaten this year ? The two wins are from teams that are a combined 1-8. And we easily could have lost both of those. That is less than impressive.
So you’re taking the position that the Packers’ backups are better than our starters? The worst part is that most of Peter King’s columns have nothing to do with football. Coffee, dogs, weather, it’s all legitimate when you need to fill space!
Can't wait for all these experts to be proved wrong on Sunday. These guys better not let us down again.
Yea but what have we done this year to warrant respect? Essentially beating the Bills by 3 points, or beating the Vikings only because they didn't take our defense seriously? Or how about losing to the Jets without their top corner, Santonio Holmes, or Calvin Pace AND at home? Or how about our very last performance where we gave up 35 points in the 2nd half at home?
Classic Peter King. "I'm taking the Packers based on Aaron Rodgers playing, even though I don't know if he will play, but am taking them anyways because if he does play he won't have any TE's to throw to but I still pick the Packers...if Rodgers plays"
Whoops. Yeah, flipped my quotes there. Still, I'm not too fond of any of the logic in any of the analysis. Rodgers is a top 4 QB, but concussions are concussions. And missing his favorite target in Finley does him no favors.
Well the Packers are playing the "Concussion? What concussion?" game with him right now, so supposedly Rodgers is feeling zero effects from it. It might even be true. Missing Finley is a big deal. Concerns me a little bit that Donald Lee practiced as I thought he was supposed to be out as well. I think the weaknesses in the defense though are the thing that hurts Rodgers most. I have to think that this isn't yesteryear's Miami defense, where Peyton Manning can score enough points to win the game in only 17 minutes of offense. The Dolphins could run the ball 40 times in this one.
it COULD be ? MAtt Flynn......COULD be a drop-off from Aaron ****ing Rodgers?!?! **** these people. holy cow man
It's a hypothetical. They meant: "...It would be a substantial dropoff should he play" ...And I will be crying myself to sleep tonight as well. These people.
Damn, Schlereth picked the Packers...and the Dolphins. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/20062/dolphins-at-packers-predictions http://espn.go.com/nfl/picks The fact that Mark and Herm picked us makes me very uneasy all of a sudden.
